I'm only familiar with a few of their songs but I might purchase the winner of this poll.

I've got no idea which album will take this one. I'm going with Warehouse: Songs and Stories, but it's awfully hard choosing between it or either New Day Rising or Flip Your Wig. And Zen Arcade is awfully good as well, and (as Bowiglou has noted before) even Candy Apple Grey has "Sorry Somehow" which is one of the best songs about divorce/breaking up ever written and recorded.
As far as Husker Du purchases go, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the four albums I mentioned to start my post.

Forget Husker Du. Get Sugar - Copper Blue.

Forget Husker Du. Get Sugar - Copper Blue. Ordinarily, this would get me started on a rant about how much better and more important Husker Du were ... but I've been listening to all four Sugar albums a lot lately, and find it hard to say anything bad about Bob Mould's "other" band. Copper Blue is more melodic and easier to get into than anything that Husker Du ever did. I personally think that (at a minimum) Warehouse and Flip Your Wig are better than Copper Blue, but that's b/c I like Grant Hart's vocals and songwriting, too. If we're just talking about Bob Mould, Sugar's debut just might be his personal finest moment.

I don't argue that Husker Du are more important because Sugar are criminally over looked but I think Sugar was a better band.

Zen Arcade for me. One of my discovered passions when I was in the throws of High School.

Metal Circus for me. Short and snappy.
