Why didn't they stick with the original "Concert for Bangladesh" cover ... ??
That one looks like George is about to kill someone with his guitar ...

Isn't it an old advertising gimmick to put a familiar face/image so that Joe/Jane Average will notice it and not just the fans? They do that with DVDs too: films with great posters find their front DVD covers plastered with the actors faces instead. Isn't there a limited edition DVD set with the original cover?

There's something about a photo of a starving, emaciated Indian child that looks out of place in the music DVD section at your local Borders and Barnes & Noble...better a stock photo of Harrison looking angry (which, in turn, makes the customer feel somewhat guilty for having not purchased his releases in sufficient quantity to allow him to live as comfortably as Paul McCartney while he was still alive...). J/K o course.

My pet peeve is when a movie based on a book comes out, and they put the actors on the book's cover. I can't fucking stand that shit, and usually end up not buying the book because I'm embarrassed the clerk will think I'm some illiterate jackass who is buying a book because I hope it's like the movie.

Life is good. Really psyched about the director's commentary on Rejects, as the House of 1,000 Corpses commentary is my all-time favorite of the sort.

The Rejects commentary was good, but not as good as Corpses. The best part about it is the sorta shocking insight as to what originally happened to Dr. Satan.

Oh yeah, The Devils Rejects. Man, I think it's a great DVD.

This will be the 2nd time I bought this film. I've read the transfer is perfect and the audio commentary is great. So, why not?
