far from heaven (had to buy it for uni)
gangs of new york (once again, uni purchase, but its slowly growing on me)
family guy movie!!
and my housemate is ridiculous and has bought series one, two and three of the golden girls. i know its bad, but i can't help but watch. at least i'm not the moron that bought it.
but i am the moron who is mentioning it on an online forum. go figure.

that being said, birthday is fast approaching and so my sporadic dvd buying update should be huge.
i want lost on dvd, damnit.
oh, i did get rules of attraction and american psycho for three bucks each. score. even if the movies aren't that good.

 For $10. I lucked out. Watched the first two episodes, including the 90 minute pilot. Pretty good so far, although I expect some duds on the way. Pure nostalgia.  For $5. Not a bad sequel, really. |

I've always wanted this and now I own it. I rule. Dude, I want this edition SO fucking bad, but it's hard to justify the expense since I just got the old DVD for my birthday last year. Watching my GI Joe DVDs right now. Need to get my fix of this, Conan, and Rambo before the wife gets back tonight. |

I'd sell the old DVD. I paid $28 for my copy and it was so fucking worth it. It looks and sounds better and the supplements (on disc and lengthly booklet) should cement this as the last word on the flick.
I remember a book, resembling a high school yearbook, was put out for Dazed and Confused long ago. I've seen it, skimmed through it, but never bought it. Me so dumb. Thankfully, the DVD booklet has some material from it (character sketches in form of yearbook Q&A's/personal info).
