In which horror movie does the following scene occur?
His interrogator did not like the responses he was getting from him, so he put him in a 20" x 20" box for 17 hours. When he took him out, he asked him again. Still dissatisfied by the answer, he knocked him on his back, and proceeded to beat his face for 15 consecutive minutes.
Which movie is this review quote about?
The movie is over 120 minutes long, and I would guess that at least 100, maybe more, are concerned specifically and graphically with torture and death. This is the most violent film I have ever seen.

I am going to make a guess. My guess is based on my extensive knowledge of movie lore. The movie I am going to take a stab at, I have never seen:
120 Days Of Sodom -- ?

To clarify: the above two quotes do not refer to the same movie.

The first one reminds me of the torture scene in Marathon Man. That movie was great, and I only saw it for the first time a couple of years ago. Although I don't recall his face being beaten as much as the 'dental work' he got done.

I wouldn't call that movie 'violent'. Just disgusting. My brother in law gave me a copy of the DVD several years ago and told me that he loved it, so I gave it a shot. The next day when I called him to blast him he couldn't stop laughing. He hated it too, he just wanted to have a laugh with my reaction to it. Sick bastard. It is funny though. Again, one of those movies I wish I had seen with company, just for the laughs during the poop-eating scenes.

Come on, you're so close. Think about it: what's a movie that features almost nothing but gratuitous, vile, and violent torture?

I have a vague feeling it may be something like Disney...I feel something real smartass coming up.
Torturewise the worst film I have seen would be The Passion Of The Christ...that is until I've seen Mel Gibson's Apocalyptica...

The Passion Of The Christ Correct! That's the movie the second quote refers to, in a review by Roger Ebert. Actual quote: The movie is 126 minutes long, and I would guess that at least 100 of those minutes, maybe more, are concerned specifically and graphically with the details of the torture and death of Jesus. This is the most violent film I have ever seen.rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20040224/REVIEWS/402240301/1023Now can anyone guess the first one?
