Do you think O'maley is just trying to jump start her flagging campaign and many might see this as deperate? or do you think it might hold some water?

What campaign are you talking about?

Based on that article, I'd say it's a definite "I have nothing constructive to say, so let me get off on trivial matters" campaign. Actually, provided that is HER ad, and not a group supporting her, I'd think twice about voting for her based on it. I wouldn't trust someone who'd get fixated on something that trivial, nor would I trust a politician encouraging behavior like that.

Is that for real? Ban the Fucking Boss? Seriously.
How come arseholes like Matchbox 20 or Bon Jovi don't have campaigns like this initiated against their music?
Politics aside, I would far rather see some wacko politician take that same wasted energy and work towards the prevention of additional consumer investment in future music production by shitty bands like these.
I don't even really like Springsteen, but this is mostly funny. Like laugh out loud fucking hillarious.
Ban The Boss. Too much man. Way too much.

Was thinking on this some more, mostly because I'm a loser with nothing better to contemplate.
These could be the next misdirected campaigns targeted at artists, regardless of their political affiliations.
"Ostracize The Osmonds"
"Blacklist Black-Eyed Peas"
"Snub Ciny Lauper"
"Cold-Shoulder Coldplay"
"Reject Reba MacIntryre"
"Preclude Prince"
"Fuck The Funky Bunch, but not Marky Mark, because he's not that political and he was in Planet Of The Apes"

Do you guys want some sort of heads up when I feel it necessary to inject levity into this thread when my attention span falters, or do you prefer the randomness of lame posts like the last one?

I personally prefer the randomness. The "except Marky Mark" bit was my favorite!

Was there really even a "funky bunch", or was it just some sort of an illusion created by the record company to give the impression that the brother of a New Kid On The Block could actually put together a posse?
I'm skeptical. If they did exist, they were clearly not funky enough to keep his music craeer from faltering, and I would suggest they bear a certain amount of responsibility for his script choices as well. Fucking Funky Bunch. They're shady. I'm telling you.

I'm thinking the Funky Bunch was whoever was around a the time...not a set posse as such. Many of the orginal Funky Bunch, or OFB yo, got tired of marky dropping his pants all the time so it became just a wondering bunch of merry men who would occasionally hump the ground when a fat bass beat would kick it.

The Funky Bunch is a myth. Much in the same way Hercules, Bigfoot, and Stryder are.

Did anyone read the article about O'Reilly on RS.com under "Politics"? I have to agree that the guy is on the edge. I agree with the guy more than half of the time but I think he let's things get to him a bit too much. I used to let them get to me until I realized that all the evil going on in the world is merely birth pangs.

I was just on CNN's website reading the updates of the supposed truce / whatever it is in Najaf. My two questions at this point are:
1. Why in the hell is that mosque still standing? We should be bombing it into a pile of dust, and then bomb the pile of dust once for good measure.
2. Just how many broken promises are we going to fall for from these assholes before we finally realize we can't negotiate with peoplewho can't be trusted??
