If EVERY ELECTION YEAR FROM NOW ON there is even the slightest increase in the percentage of voters who "Go Green", then VICTORY IS A GIVEN for this VIABLE sproutling of a party.
WE MUST NOT GIVE UP HOPE, NOT EVER.
So if you don't like either BUSH or KERRY,
For The Sake Of Your Children and Your Children's Children, VOTE NADER FOR CRYING OUT LOUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Because a PROTESTOR is that Gardener who, by the sweat of his own brow, and his constant, diligent efforts at tending that plant which he must never forsake, does so irregardless of the fact he shall never live to see his Garden come to fruition.
THAT is the true definition of a protestor: it requires utter selfLESSness, with the knowledge that what he does is pave the way for future generations; NOT his own self-serving needs.
A Protestor is that honorable creature who toils and labors incessantly throughout his lifetime all to be delivered a PAYCHECK AFTER HE'S DEAD: A Payoff only his great grand-children will get to enjoy.
This is in DIRECT, DIAMETRIC OPPOSITION to what a conservative, republican mindset struggles and labors and toils for all HIS lifetime: to achieve something he or she can be guaranteed to benefit from during their own lifetime, and unfortunately, very often with complete disdain or perhaps even mere oversight for their own future progeny. It's all "Me me me me" with the conservative/republican mindset, from what I've been able to tell. Unless one of you can step forth in your defense and show me how I'm wrong: show me how these policies of yours take into account our future generations, and the wellbeing of the natural diversity and balance of this ecosystem that is far more important to our livelihoods and very existances than all the wealth in the known universe, than all the political power in the lands. Show me how the extremist rightwing conservative sect could possibly have one-hundredth of the nobility, wisdom, and selfless sacrifice that a true-blue, dyed-in-the-wool PROTESTOR has, I dare you.

So maybe, JUST MAYBE , all of us forward-thinking types who are DISGUSTED WITH THE CURRENT ADMINISTRATION to the very cores of our beings, MAYBE WE SHOULD JUST
!!!!SAY NO TO BUSH AND KERRY!!!!
AND START WATERING THIS VALID, VIABLE, third party headed by dear old RALPH NADER DAVID COBB and consider it naught but our ritualistic weekend WATERING of this Green Party Plant whom WE KNOW DEEP IN OUR HEARTS WILL NEVER SEE A REPRESENTATIVE ELECTED TO THE PRESIDENCY DURING OUR LIFETIMES.

But SO WHAT if they don't "Win" during our petty lifetimes? ? ?
Our future generations are far more important than our own selfish considerations.

Okay, I'm confused again. Is your goal support for the Green party to grow, or suport for Nader to grow? Well, Nader is, after all, just a man. He'll die one day, I assure you. Hence the answer to your question is: "Support for the Green party to grow".

Is Nader running as an independent? I thought i heard somewhere that he was running on the ticket of Perot's old party. Or does it depend on the state? OR, does it depend on which Iraq position Kerry has taken day to day? LMAO!! Kerry: "What day is it today? Wednesday? If it's Wednesday, then I'm against the war today." According to the Project Vote Smart website, Nader is running as an independent, although I'm not sure what that means as far as individual state ballots. www.vote-smart.org/election_president_party.php?party_name=All&PHPSESSID=d03ddfd6155c38aa9ea6d2e5815574d5

I must reiterate that these are merely thoughts that have been going through me head, as of late.
I was all set to "Vote Kerry", come November.
Now I'm not so sure that will do any good, for the Long Run.
I am starting to consider very seriously the Nader vote. As far as I'm concerned, Bush has this thing won already.
So the Nader-vote will be a message to future generations of voters: "Hey you! There's this ALTERNATIVE option for you guys . . .it's called the Green Party! Spread the word; eventually it will grow to fruition!" , or something like that.
Yeah I'm giving Nader some serious thought, once again.

So are you saying, *gulp*, that there IS NO GREEN PARTY, since Nader is running as an independent, stratman?

So if Nader is going to die one day, and he's not running on the Green ticket this time, then how is a vote for a non-Green guy who is going to die a vote for Green?

Okay. So if Nader is going to die one day, and he's not running on the Green ticket this time, then how is a vote for a non-Green guy who is going to die a vote for Green? Good question. See I assumed Nader WAS "green"; I suppose it's this "Cobb" fellow, whom no one ever even heard of. Kinda hilarious, huh. I'll obviously have to look into the Cobb/Nader, i.e, Green/Independant, options, more thoroughly. Perhaps I'll vote for this Cobb fellow!
