Good question. See I assumed Nader WAS "green"; I suppose it's this "Cobb" fellow, whom no one ever even heard of. Kinda hilarious, huh. I'll obviously have to look into the Cobb/Nader, i.e, Green/Independant, options, more thoroughly. Perhaps I'll vote for this Cobb fellow! Start watching C-Span. Cobb was on the other day in a third-party debate.

...what a conservative, republican mindset struggles and labors and toils for all HIS lifetime: to achieve something he or she can be guaranteed to benefit from during their own lifetime, and unfortunately, very often with complete disdain or perhaps even mere oversight for their own future progeny. It's all "Me me me me" with the conservative/republican mindset, from what I've been able to tell.
What a load of utter HORSEshit....and we're NOT to see you as having SAINTED yourself?
This truly IS insulting as fuck, thorn...
Ooooh WAIT...and we are to prove that we're not. To satisfy you...
Um, it's not me just having a bad day when I say(again), regarding THAT verrry personal load of putrescent crap...pleeeease fuck off with these unmeasured fucking pronouncements of yours.

Doc, is allowing your heart rate to go up at the rants of a guy who isn't even politically smart enough to "endorse" a candidate and party that are associated really worth it?

Fuck, Fuck, Fuck, and FUCK YOU, Rn~RX. I was talking about Conservatives vs. Protestors, and furthermore, I was asking how is it that conservatives can have as much Nobility of purpose.
These allegations of my "self-proclaimed Saint Hood" are becoming tiresome from you. I never made such a claim as to myself; for all YOU know, I think of myself as a LOUSY protestor, you semantic hair splitting Ritalin-prescribing VERBOSE psychobabble vendor.

Apparantly, I type too fast for you to keep up. That was typed before all the other posts went up. Gimme a break Thorn, you asked about Nader running as an independent in post #114. I had already mentioned that, AND who the Green Party's candidate was in post #99. Tis you who were running behind.

But SO WHAT if they don't "Win" during our petty lifetimes? ? ? Our future generations are far more important than our own selfish considerations. Yes indeed. Which is why now is a bad time to vote for nader, cause as much as it strokes our collective fuckin lefty ego to think we're being all principled and "voting our dreams not our fears" and all that business, it's precisely for the sake of future generations that we should attempt to prevent the environment from getting raped and World War III from beginning. But seriously.... under our current system, the Greens are fuckin doomed as a national party. The way to work for a viable Green Party in the future isn't to vote for Green candidates for president (unless you live in a state where the candidate who's going to win is a foregone conclusion - then vote for whoever you want!) but to vote for Greens for more local positions where they actually have a chance of competing - the San Francisco city administration is full of Greens, they're a much more important local force in politics here than Republicans, who are totally off the political radar screen. All the political battles are basically between Democrats and Greens here. We came very very close to electing Matt Gonzalez as the first Green mayor of a major urban center in American history last year. The other thing you can do - though this is considerably more utopian and unlikely, but at least it can't make things even fuckin worse if it fails - is to begin fighting for a proportional representation system instead of a first-past-the-post system. In my opinion, that's possibly the only way Greens (and other fringe parties) can ever find a meaningful voice in American politics beyond a few unusually progressive localities. Cheers, M

In need of a better education in politics, that is. Thank you, Mary. I will take your comments to heart.

As for you, Rockin Docker, PLEASE STOP with this suddenly-turning-my-arguments-on-yer-dime with this ludicrous finger-pointing and angry blaming me for positing myself as some undisputed SAINT, that is just so much fucking WEAKsauce- Bullshit, I'm tired of it, and if any more such groundless accusations come spilling out of your pie hole on here, I am going to work on my politically-correct responses, bucko! Just see if I don't!

These allegations of my "self-proclaimed Saint Hood" are becoming tiresome from you. I never made such a claim as to myself; for all YOU know, I think of myself as a LOUSY protestor... And FURTHERmore -- Mr. "Let's Distract From The Real Issues ThoRny Is Going On About" -- I will not let you get away so easily. So INSTEAD of daring to point-blank answer my question as it was intended, NOOOO,, instead you wave the ol "SO YOU THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN US" flag. Yeah well I know the reason for this DISTRACTION of yours. It is because YOU DON'T HAVE AN ANSWER. You cannot rebuke nor put what I posted in its proper place: So instead, you try and put ME in what you think of as my proper place. Well FUCK ME, I say. Who gives a shit about me, anyhow? Unless it's YOU that has some kinda subversive, underneath-the-skin CRUSH on ME, or something like that? If you can't glean the meaning behind this JEST of mine, then the laugh's on YOU. All I'm saying is, could you, *ahem*, perhaps lay off on your stupid, hollow, insipid, and baseless accusations against me with your so-called allegations that I'm some sort of self-proclaimed saint? Cuz it is fucking stupid. The NEXT time I ask you a friggin point-blank question YOU HAVE NO ANSWER FOR, then why don't you just SHUT UP and let someone else with an imagination try and answer it? Or you can continue to throw your tantrums over being "insulted" that some politically-challenged individual on the CE-board comes across as if he's "better than you", whatever man. I don't think that, nor any variation thereof, nor have I ever claimed to, nor implied it from anything I've said. My questions have been thoroughly aimed with precision about BIGGER and MORE IMPORTANT issues than your kneejerk reactionist assessments of me personally. It is YOU who have succeeded in truly insulting ME by constantly doing that. SO FUCKING DROP IT, mmmm'kay?

I saw Bush eat a puppy. He used gravy so it wasn't completely savage but it was still on little on the disturbing side.
