Sociology is the biggest bunch of bullshit I have ever seen.First it was Philosophy, now this ?? No wonders you have trouble dealing with the concept of human nature in general and Evolution in particular ... Ignorance is bliss ... "keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings and oppositions of science falsely so called: which some professing have erred concerning the faith." 1 Timothy 6:20

There must have been fertilizer in that A-bomb though, because they sure multiplied pretty quick.

I said I have no idea where it comes from. It could come from god. If he exists. None of us know, and won't unless he comes down and reveals himself. That's why I think it's a waste of time to worship something that is so uncertain and only a feeling, or belief, instead of focusing on what we actually do have in front of us, things we are certain of, and dealing with those. And what are you going to do when this happens?

Just remember that it was Adam & Eve who started namin' shit. Before that, nothing had names. It was necessary to point. Everything sure went downhill from there, eh? So you DO believe that creationism should be taught in schools?

Flying the flag upside down is a distress signal. To display it that way without an actual emergency is inappropriate. ("Hey, someone is displaying an upside down flag - should we investigate?" "Nah, it's probably just some wacko protestor - forget about it.")
Thank you to all of our veterans, past and present.

This. Better yet what if one comes claiming to be God and isn't really God, will you be able to tell the difference?

Not unless you had an emergency! (e.g., your ship is sinking, you're trapped, etc...)

Oh ok, sorry I wasn't sure what you considered an emergency. LOL I just did a book report on a very interesting book. The Military and the Media: Why the Press Cannot Be Trusted to Cover a War by William V. Kennedy There is so much information in this book Also an interesting quote from Dan Rather in there. I guess once he was saying he had made some mistakes in his reporting on the Vietnam war and he blamed it on the military for not informing him ahead of time that war is "Mud and Blood". No sir, its a tea party.
