Doc, it doesn't matter how many facts you post about Obama that show how bad a job he's doing--his supporters will always deny or excuse everything that's put in front of them. Never ceases to amaze me.

not SO long ago, skv bailed, jac bailed (tho there's a 'james sumthin' name as the newb on the masthead, hmmmmmm), as merely the most recent among the countless others who went off to either gainful occupations and/or sedakaland - shane comes through, thorn comes through, maarts, ben peach, glennh, strawman - i even saw, whatsername, tuneschick login not that long ago for godknowswhat reason...

MOSCOW (AP) — Police say 20 gay rights campaigners and militant Orthodox Christian activists have been detained near Russia's parliament during a protest against planned anti-gay legislation.
Russia's Parliament is to consider a federal law that makes public events and dissemination of information on the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender, or LGBT, community to minors punishable by fines of up to $16,000.
Many, including Russia's dominant Orthodox church, have hailed the law saying it will boost Russia's dwindling birth rates.
Three dozen LGBT rights campaigners gathered Friday near the State Duma in Moscow to protest the law, while militant Orthodox activists started assaulting and pelting them with eggs. Police intervened, but mostly detained the LGBT campaigners.
Russia decriminalized homosexuality in 1993, but homophobia remains high in the country.

depends on which day you're asking about - or it dependED, seeing that i posted nothing since january.
there was a post up there by whatisname slarknaked/matt copy and pasting the cover of some favorite beefcake magazine which pictured a 16 year old nugent-style hunter in loincloth, which i referred to with '^^^' pointing to it.
i hope that helps since i can see your question is so earnest - yeah, otherwise i'm writing a diary.

believe it our not, i'm actually FOR boston tho i hate seeing anyone get embarassed the way pittsburgh (so far) has been.
tho my hope for the blackhawks getting fellow original 6 member/rival detroit as an opponent kinda blew up in my face.
getting boston, while they're on a roll will NOT be a bowl of cherries.
still to do things 'right', to earn the stanley cup on a 1/2 season of play after a stupid fucking strike, i think you shouldn't be winning on some sort of series of flukes.
you gotta EARN the mf-er so the inevitable asterisk is made smaller.

Yeah, it was great visiting with Shane again after all these years but apparently he's been driven off once again. How does this keep happening?
Current events: Some dude got shot in the head by an OKC cop as he held a gun to a young child's head. All agree the killing was justified. Happened at Wal-Mart so of course there's good surveillance video footage. Fuckin' lawman shot that son of a bitch point blank in the head, didn't even see it coming. I could think of lots worse ways to go. I wouldn't take a kid out of a cart and hold it hostage, though.

yeah, if i'd been been shane, being misidentified as matt/slark during a hockey convo would have shaken me to my core as well.

be that as it may, my guess is shane's a once a month or less visitor to this place, like i've become, so it's far less than the more 'invested' visits, looking for replies/reactions to questions/insults, than it once was.

I will admit it...I won't deny that I came back here to engage in civil conversation with rocdoc so I am overwhelmingly disappointed that he has for all intents and purposes absconded. Spirited discussion was always the norm between the two of us and I have missed it.
