If you Junior Members keep it to a dull roar that would be great.
Some of us Full Members are trying to get fired for spending too much time on message boards.

Oh, god no, luke, I'm not going to bonnaroo. i should be going though, as I think i am the poster geographically closest to the damn thing. I was all ready to get tickets, but nope. my friends who went to the first one said they would never go again and my best friend Leslie says (kind of insultingly) there's NO WAY I would last through it (i've never even been camping, she kept bringing up...) Said she could just see me complaining about the smell and no bathrooms, etc...in her defense, it's kind of true. I've never even used a port-a-can. But you have a kick ass time. and be careful fighting the mad traffic. Sorry about the Primus/Ween fuck-up.

Yeah...I plan on being all sorts of wasted and smelling of sweat, sunscreen, and all sorts of other funk...walking around shirtless with a knapsack and a pair of aviators, it'll be great.
Still concerned about missing Friday bands, though, and yeah, the Ween/Primus thing...

Now, has Mary seen The Sopranos yet or what? And where are we supposed to talk Sops now anyway?
SPOILER-FREE...Luke, if you're still around: I was put off by how LONG things went on, if ya know what I mean, but all in all, I liked this last episode
...of course, it was too dragged out, just like everything in the Sopranos universe these days. and I feel like the episode was more filler for this season of filler like you've said before. but I happened to like it this time. just because it was so eerie. Reminded me of David Lynch or something.

Check out my review in The Coffeeshop, Lumen. And no, that slacker Blaney is too busy slacking and posting and working on a degree and stuff. She's gonna watch it recorded again.

But yeah, I totally agree that this episode was complete filler. My review in the coffeeshop was made at around five a.m., so it may sound a little wacky, but yeah, I think I'm in total agreement with you.

Strat - I think there seriously may be a bit of a misunderstanding taking place here, as you've heard a number of people say, and I would respectfully suggest the same... Knight's a pretty cool guy. I love that you/we can keep this place relatively troll free (RS.com should take a lesson), but I'm pretty sure the spam was a joke that just wasn't thought out so awfully well, and ifv that's the case, I'll personally give Knight a kick in the arse (he sold me a message board once and the share price on NASDAQ went sky fucking high). Maybe this would be more appropriate as a private email, but that wouldn't do anything to help my posting count against Thonry's, and I've already typed here, so I really hope this isn't out of line. I'm loving this forum a whole helluva lot. I just would like to think none of us would knowingly invite any arseholes here. Absolutely your call bro. Just throwing it out, since I think you asked earlier for people to go to bat. Hope I'm not over stepping any bounds. It's just I feel like I managed to cross between a few groups a posters at RS.com over the last number of months, made some new friends and have no reason to think of Knight as anything but top shelf until he proves otherwise. FWIW. Doggy.

Riley, he used to change his username pretty fequently, but always with the "Proud" in it...
He began as Proudillness... pretty darn cool guy too! We were keeping the REM board afloat along with some others for some time.

Yeah, Riley; but but this may not be "Knight" as you knew him, or "Knight" may have had duplicitious personalities, and Knight was the 'nice guy.' You just don't know, because RS was so utterly remiss.
And I fully expected that some of the multiple-ID people and trolls would turn up here. But that won't be a problem, now. You can take my word for it. You can bet on it, Clubber!
Just take a look at their posts here. They bear the exact same trademarks of the irritants who probably contributed to the shutdown of the RS boards, and caused RS surfing to become not fun.
BTW, all three of the "Knight" IDs had the same ISP# (that would be Knight and Heavymetalfanatic, etc) and the same email.
I think we should do this in a democratic fashion. The Troll Tribunal must be a public affair. "Knight" is back, BTW, lurking around, so we should do it now, before I have to ban him again.
I'm going to start a poll (as soon as I figure out how) and we can all weigh in.
My feeling is that "Knight" from this ISP# should remain banned for many reasons:
1) There is clear evidence and MO that this is a troll. 2) This type of behavior seriously impeded enjoyment of the old RS boards for years. 3) So, do you want to allow it here, or not?
Well, I'll try to get the poll up.
