Damn! First thing I put on the stereo was Miserere by Part....ESP?

That 'secret board' was set up to get away from the Advice Lounge, hoping the usual shitstirrers wouldn't bomb the place again like they did a lot of the time...it was a personal thing since the majority of the bombs went to the boards on the Most Active-list and The Advice Lounge wasn't even on that.
So a new home was found in the same 'secret board'-style favoured by other posters around here...grab an empty board from somewhere on the lists and decorate it in your own style. And it worked! No more bombs.
Surely that wasn't a crime here.

I agree though that fascism is NOT the way to treat all this but then again, this is what Knight didn't post here himself.

Re Arvo Pärt, Kanon Pokajanen: Sounds as though it might annoy me. Who knows though. If I ever see it in a record store (which I'm guessing is a remote possibility) I'll listen to it in a booth or whatnot.

I love the way RS (rsjunior.proboards18.com is too tedious to type out -- we need a nickname for this place, since we'll probably be here a while, if not forever) expands my musical limits.

Yes bow, I used to collect them when I was little. And no, you are NOT a troll. A troll (I think) is someone who posts meaningless stuff just to piss the real posters off. Numbers was a troll. MORALITY2004 (how could you forget him?) was a troll.

You can call it the RS Castaways Board, samples. Nobody’s even commented on the neat picture of our mascot, Wilson. When the guy at ebay sells his volleyball, I’ll have to find an alternative pic, most likely.

Maart, I emailed Don – only fitting that he be the one to start a new Bared Souls/Brains board. No reply yet. Wholi’s email came back – but I think he’s still on tour in the UK at the moment. He could be reached through the Wholigan’s site, I know. Will send, if I don’t hear from him first.

I have restored your other ISP#, so you can use it here and post at your convenience. Actually, I do recall the name from RS, but I’m not sure where. I, too, posted on a few boards that clocked many thousands of posts, just not the same ones as you. I didn’t post at Pearl Jam, and thus I didn’t post at the Advice Lounge. I’ve never had the time or inclination to try to establish a presence across the great expanse that was the RS boards – I had a few boards where I found the people and content interesting and mainly stayed around there.

Out of a group of 80 or so assorted members here who posted all over at the RS boards, many didn’t realize that your practical joke was just “Knight having some fun” at CE. I don’t see how they could have been expected to. I find your indignation at that fact rather arrogant. I expect you had a lot of similar “fun” at RS too, and I think the difference between that and being a troll is really pretty difficult to distinguish.

These aren’t “my boards”; they are “our boards.” I created this place as a public service to all the people and my friends who posted at RS. It’s like RS, only with some controls and moderators, so that people will be able to enjoy it. Now, I’m not so sure I want the duty. Your “joke” was in especially poor taste, since the actions of trolls and bombers no doubt contributed to the shutting down of the out-of-control RS boards, and many people resent the trolls now more than ever. Please take note: everyone doesn’t appreciate practical jokes, because they can often inconvenience, irritate, or hurt people.
