Now, relax, Scottsy, we need to let those limbs get a little meat on them before the first RS Castaways homecoming feast!
So, I guess I'll give up on the individual welcomes. You get the idea. Welcome, everybody!
I'm trying to come to grips with some of the limitations here; please be patient, and let me in on any suggestions. Some of the flat limitations are: I can't turn a thread into a message board. With Weepings movie board, for example, I renamed the original "General Threads," board, and since it was the only thread, it came out fairly tidy. Then I put up a new "General Threads" board, and JLLM started a thread. A couple of other people did, too, so JLLM gets to also be the moderator of "Vent City" and "The Pantless Lounge." Sorry about that JLLM, Rockkid, and Scottsy. I'm sure JLLM will be a fine moderator - just forget about those scandalous tabloid articles!
Hello, Jac! This place is for all RS posters - it is ours. "Any port in a storm," y'know. Look under the "Indies" boards for "To be Named." You will be the moderator. I don't even know if you'll be able to rename it at this point - let me know if not.

Hey, thanks Strat-0...that's really nice of you. This place may turn out to be as good as, if not better, than RS.com... Now, if someone could please give me the step-by-step on how to post jpegs and gifs I would really appreciate it (no, not up to anything fishy, just saw Weeping's "Troy" review with the cool photo from the movie and thought it would be cool to do album reviews in the same way...) Once again, high-fives to strat-0 for getting this place up...here's hoping we can let bygones be bygones and see in a new, kinder and gentler era of message board communication...  JAC |

Everything is linked by the url. Whether it's your own website address or another. You have to put in the url to the picture or page. It will go to the url and look for a gif or jpeg, and then display it. Easy, huh?  |

Believe it or not, I already read that thread, but I'm still missing something. I tried pasting in a URL from my geocities website...even went so far as to make sure all the page had on it was a single photo...but no luck.
Any suggestions?
Gotta get some sleep now, but I'll definately check back in tomorrow...

When you find the pic you want, right click on it, and in the box that opens, click on "properties." You will see the url on one of the lines. Copy and paste that into the appropriate place when you click on the "insert picture" icon, and voila! It's easy!  |

I can probably reach Mr.Gordon, though he might know about it, i was pretty baked last time i was talking to him, can't quite remember if he said he did or not.
