Master Since were castaways how bout Wilson Captain...... or in this order Intern Producer Director Writter Author I do like the music system though how about we use guilty pleasures/ or awful music bands if we came up with a list everyone could agree on But then again I'm not at "God" Level so what do I know  |

Since the consensus seems to be for a new system, I guess the suggestions for the replacement of the "God" designation are kind of moot now.
I'll gather up the stuff and get started on the poll next door.

Perhaps a thought to think about some new denominators for posting totals?
It's just that MOJO thinks every month of song titles to accompany the posting totals. Last month it was Pink Floyd, this month Elvis-songtitles: this is the list:
100 In The Ghetto
200 Wooden Heart
300 Moody Blue
400 Lonesome Tonight
500 Suspicious Mind
1000 Bossanova Baby
1500 Hound Dog
2000 All Shook Up
5000 Hunk O'Burnin' Love
10000 King Of The Whole Wide World
Think it's a good idea to adopt something similar. What do you think? If anyone comes up with a good chain like that, would you consider to adopt it on a monthly/bimonthly basis?

I'm not totally opposed to the idea, but it seems like a lot of work for me, and brain strain for everybody else to keep coming up with new ones and changing them. Seems like it would be awfully difficult to come up with the appropriate gradients for a lot artist's catalogues. Anyone else have a thought?

I like it. You wouldn't have to change it every month, just periodicly. I don't think it'd be that hard to come up with new titles...you ask a different person to do it every month, I'm sure most people wouldn't be opposed to helping out with that every now and again. I know I wouldn't.
