I admit, I got a tad over-excited the other day when I posted that shit. But it was SAm's fault! I'm tellin ya, I was only seein it thru his eyes . . . Eliminate your own EGO, and the impact korn has made on earth is undeniable. Only I can see it with perfect clarity! And the Renaissance is about to begin . . .

Time To Bash Tha Fukk OUtta Rollingstone "Magazine" again
Ok, any of U fukkers read the ludicrous article on Head posted on rollingstone.com? I'm not even going to get too deeply into it, other than to cite the first sentence as an example of just why this reporter doesn't know WTF he's talkin about (does anyone when it comes to our favorite band?):
"Storming onto the scene in the mid-Nineties, Korn changed the face of metal with their fierce infusion of rap and alternative rock."

These people will never GET IT, will they?
It's like . . . they've been given an assignment to write a story . . . about a band they know next to nothing about, and more pointedly, could care less about !
Then there's the BS that Head spews, notice the new slant he takes when stating "Then with the last record, it seemed like everybody shifted from being down with the fans to wanting to make money, and our managers started getting really involved. They were telling us what songs to play -- and, I mean, they manage the Backstreet Boys! They started talking about hiring writers for the new record. I don't know if they did. And I was going, "Dude, this is stupid." I was a part of a band that's known for not selling out, that's written every album with the most heartfelt lyrics -- and now they're changing into a machine. We had a bunch of battles -- three people got kicked out at one time or another -- and my friends weren't even my friends anymore. So I left."
WHAT ABOUT GOD, dude?
Hey, by the time Head gets his story straight, I could just care less. Nothing he's said to the press about the Split has added up in the least. Meanwhile, the rest of his friends in the band are just picking up the pieces & trying to get on with their lives in Korn. I can't wait for the rebuttal sure to come out where Jon sets the record straight about what really happened in korn. I mean, wtF! Where Head is all "they were telling us what songs to play", what does he mean, "Y'all wanna single"-? Yeah they wrote that one as a joke for the Execs, everyone knows that. The rest of the album is fukkin solid - a veritable bridge connecting the entire history of their output with their debut. The album is self-produced. Is he referencing the next, yet-to-be-released album? If so, why can't he be perfectly clear as to what he's referencing? See, no matter how you slice it, the man just doesn't make sense. So much for "seeing the light" . . .
/end rant

Why should we even care anymore?
Head's gone... so fuck him.
Rollingstone doesn't know shit about Korn... so fuck 'em. Who even gives a shit what they think, or anyone else, for that matter?
But I have some bad news for you: Korn did have outside help on this album. Jonathan slipped up and said it himself in an interview, about the Matrix "bringing a song in" for them to do. He goes on to say they didn't like it at first and did some other stuff, but still the fact remains that it was suggested they record someone else's song. Head might be onto something there.

Yeah, but it's none of his business anymore now is it -? So what right does he have to slam his Ex-bandmates' upcoming project like that -? So what if they brought in the Matrix to write a song ? Collaborative efforts aren't allowed -? The fact remains the guys in the band can do whatever the hell they want, the record will remain 90% truekorn anyhow, and its not like they haven't collaborated in the past. There's all those rap/collaborations (a very small percentage of KOrn's original output) and, face it - - the boyz from Bakersfield can do what they like with their album! I see this as a particularly pressing (not to mention challenging) time for them, what with the loss of what was an integral part of their overall sound (but it's not like they can't backpedal & make it right as rain again). Sure the results will be . . . different; but as far as I"m concerned (& this is not just rationalizing...) I"m glad koRn's sound will head in a new & different direction, as a matter of fact I'd say lucky for us that Head waited to quit until AFTER TALITM was released, cuz that album will 4evermore stand as a true testament that the original korn came Full Circle and achieved closure for their First Decade as a band. So they lost Brian Welch to God, that's too bad but they've picked themselves up off the ground, dusted theyselves off, and are getting on with it. All this petty bickering is . . . just that: petty bickering. Wait'll the dustcloud clears completely, and this new album is out of the bullpen. The Fans Uv Korn are going to embrace it with true love and arms open wide . . . and then the Second Stage of Korn will begin in earnest!

Sure, they can do whatever the hell they want. Just like Head can do whatever the hell he wants. Like talk to RS. It's as much his business as anyone else's, probably even more so, since he was involved for so many years.
