Seriously, I'd be running and screaming my head off like a little girl if Pyramid Head was in the same building. It wouldn't matter. Not only would he catch me, I'd die painfully.

Man. . . I can't believe I'm actually going to see KORN tomorrow. . . . .@the Hard Rock Hotel, no less. . . . . . . . . . . They played here on Friday night (I think ... might have been Thursday ... it was definitely late last week). Word was really good, if you like that kind of thing. Needless to say, I didn't go. I am debating about going to see Dylan here in April. Part of me really wants to see Bob, but a very large part of me is really worried about how bad he can be live. Anyone seen His Bobness in the last four or five months? Worth paying thirty to sixty bucks for tickets? Or would I be better off just using that same money to fill in whatever holes are left in my collection?

Saw him a couple years ago and it was awful. He really shouldn't be playing in rooms capable of holding more than 50 people these days...
Prolly gonna skip out on Jazzfest, so I won't be seeing him when he comes around here.

Ken ~ Please stay away from "His Bobness" concert ...
The man can barely stand on his feet and his voice (if we still can call it that) has been reduced to a croaaaaakk !!
The band is great but the music is terrible !!

Sorry to hijack the Korn thread ... but thanks for the tips, guys. I was really afraid that this was the case. A few years back, Bob was still capable of (at least on occasion) delivering a great performance (I've got an mp3 of him doing Visions of Johanna from '99 or so that is quite compelling). And this was the biggest factor that was making me consider going. But hearing that it's pretty much assured to be a disappointment, I think I'll pass. Why pay $30 to $60 to be let-down in person when I could just buy Street Legal for $15 and be let-down in my own home ... or car ... or office. Think the only way I'll go to this is is I happen to luck into free tickets. OK, that's all I'll say 'bout Bob on this board. Thanks for letting me interrupt for a minute, Thorn.

Then I saw him @ Sullivan Stadium, a couple years later
(18 years ago or so)
And he SUCKED. :\
played for all of 45-minutes, and I kid you not, stood there in the same hunched over position, strummin his guitar in exactly the same fashion for every song, and 45 minutes later, stepped off stage, done.
"BOOOO!"
