Attended another of Christian's fetish parties Saturday night. Yet again, nothing but a bunch of shameless voyeurs sitting around watching other shameless voyeurs. The only people even remotely exciting were the ones looking to make you pay. I met a "professional swinger" named Carmen... she was 6 feet tall plus 4 inch heels... I was at exact eye level with her taped tits. She wanted money, though. I thanked her for wearing nothing but tape and politely excused myself.

I've unlocked this thread, since the technical gremlins seem to have vanished.

This was a good board, it's a shame it doesn't get more posts - being how you're such a suave fashionista. So... fashion. I've spotted this neat little skirt suit that I just feel I must have. It's kind of woolly and tweedy with a rough edge and sounds a little bizarre, but it's got like a black net trim that just takes it away from Hillary Clinton crossed with Orphan Annie. Oh, and it's shoe shopping for Jllm tomorrow. We'll get you sorted. It's guru beadz to the rescue.... again

*Newsflash*
It appears that rollingstone.com will no longer have Message Boards. "Community" is no longer listed on the website. It went from "Message Boards Return: This Summer" to "New Message Boards: Coming Soon" and now there is no "Community" listed at all. Maybe they just didn't feel like tolerating trolls any longer or didn't expect right-wingers such as myself to ever get on the boards. But the Message Boards could return, I suppose. Just because there isn't a button for them now doesn't mean there won't be later, I guess. ANYhow, these boards are much better anyway. Thanks again, strat-o.

It's John Fluevog's for me all the way nowadays. Wore out me Docs. "The Seventh Heaven Soles" are awesome - way more comfy than the Docs.
And they're "Satan Proof", to boot.

Well I'll just have to tell B he's way behind the times. Although I think he has a thing for Satan, so maybe these wouldn't be the shoes for him.

All the more reason to get em. ON the bottom are actually printed the following words: "RESISTS: ALKALAI WATER ACID FATIGUE SATAN" If he's got a "thing" for Satan . . . seems to me he needs these shoes!

I need costume ideas!!! Everywhere I go is going to be a goth bar or party, so I should probably do the dark theme thing. Goddamnit, it's like I dress up for Halloween three nights a week year-round anyway, I want this to be SPECIAL. My brain is just blank. I was thinking a fairy in white but that'll be done to death. The problem with Denver is there are so many goths it's impossible to be original. Help?

A toe tagged corpse? Easy enough just get an over sized black zipped garment bag, do the death makeup, slap on a tag (course you’d have to wear open toed shoes) & you’re good to go. I shouldn’t imagine they’ll be to many of those.
Oh joy Oh joy I get to actually go to an Old Navy. Laugh all ya want but compared to the few crap stores we have up here it will be like Mecca. Nov 3 Road Trip…………..

Woohoo, the fashion board is back! OK, so not to be totally narcissistic, but I bought funky new glasses this week, and I'm crazy about them. I don't have any pictures yet of me wearing them, but here's a picture of them: I love. But perhaps I'm biased. I've also realized that even though I'm not a cold weather fan at all, my fall and winter clothes are infinitely more interesting than my summer clothes. For the first time in ages, I went on a shopping spree - to replace a bunch of clothes that I gave to charity because I was hanging on to them but had stopped wearing them ages ago. So over the past two months or so, I've picked up enough fun new work clothes to make my tired old wardrobe interesting again - four skirts, three pairs of pants, four button-down shirts, three cashmere cardigans, two ribbed turtlenecks, one blazer, three purses, four pairs of shoes, two winter jackets and various wooly tights, fishnets and other cold weather legwear. OK, I feel ready for winter. Or at least as ready as I'll ever be.

I like them tunes. They’re Nannaish but with modern flare.

Thanks rock! Yeah, I tried on about 30 pairs before I settled on these... there seems to be a pretty fine line between funky and librarian/grandma. I think the ones in this picture are navy (at least they look that way), but mine are just black.

I need new glasses so bad. It's been so long since I got the prescription renewed that one eye is completely out of focus, I seriously can't wear them unless it's an emergency, and then I have to close one eye to keep from falling over. They're red too, I hate them. But my contacts are long-since dead, and I have to keep wearing them until I cough up money for an eye exam/new glasses/new contacts.
The toe-tag thing would be fun rock, but way too much work for me... I am very lazy. I think I'll just be wearing the corset (actually they snottily corrected me -- "it's a corselet") and a long black skirt and maybe some funky accessory. Oh well. I don't really want to stand out I guess.
