Ok this ones got me stumped though it was short (my alarm went off & I’ve got to wonder where it would have gone) I dreamt a friend owned a dog pound (no one I know does) & they called me up saying “you gotta come see this”. So I arrive & out front is a older black Pontiac with its front end pushed in & a bumper sticker on the front bumper that has a rainbow & says Ever Love’n God. Now in side the pound she has this sort of mini corn crib (that’s the closest I can think to describe it) Inside it are 3 babies laying side by side in nothing but ratty cloth diapers. For some reason they are laying on news papers. She says “car out front crashed, the parents were drunk & now I have these". I get teared up, shake my head & say “babies in a kennel, shame” Then the alarm rang. Now WTF was that & where was it going?

That's a strange one, Rock. I think you need to go adopt a dog.

Sounds more like the opening of the new Stephen King-novel.

I just did remember.
Yeah I thought Kingish too but only because of the car. Hours later & I'm still stumped.

Did you eat any cheese before bed, Rock? I just heard a report on the radio about a British study whre they were investigating the belief that if you eat cheese before bed it gives you nightmares. They supposedly found some correlation. People who had a small amount of blue cheese had wacky dreams. One dreamed about a vegetarian crocodile that was upset because it couldn't eat babies. Another dreamed soldiers were fighting each other with kittens. Those who had cheddar had dreams about celebrities.

Damn OnionHead: heavy shit. Im sure the phrase "The Water was Terrible" is backmasked in Stairway to Heaven too......All I wanted in my dream was some new records to listen to in a town devoid of any culture at all. All of a sudden Azreal or whatever his name is is going to play me like a violin? Where's your dream?

I'm always aware that I'm dreaming these days, at least with any dreams I can remember.
Last night, I had this dream I was in this pen with a bunch of smaller alligators. By "smaller" I mean about three or four feet long. It was funny, and I kept fucking with them, kept smacking one right on the nose and hopping on his back when he'd try to bite me. I knew it was a dream, yes, and that none of them could get me.
Things quickly got out of hand, though, and I got scared, so I start calling for help, just certain that this gator is going to bite me.
So this chick comes in there with (and I never realized that this was what it was until I started writing just now) this giant spork with razor sharp tongs on it. The spork is metal, and painted white with green stripes coming down it. She proceeds to stap the alligator with this spork and I laugh and walk away.
I walk out of the pen, and we have a laugh, but then it seems that one of the gators has escaped. I look over and I see him in this small garden about to eat my dog Oscar. So I run and kick him out of the way and grab Oscar, but he's already dead, and limp in my arms. I go into a fury, grab the giant spork, and stab the gator into a bloody mess. Then I pick up my dead pug, and hear my wife's crying voice saying, "Oh my baby, my little baby..."
I remember once again that it's only a dream, and I'm relieved just before I wake up.

Bizarre…… short one last night. I dreamt my dog could flush the toilet (not use it but flush it). Then some one (unknown) told me her paw was in the wrong position & that’s all she wrote. Been dreaming a lot lately.

Ever since I've been back on this zyprexa sh*t my dreams have gone to unmemorable. Used to have some really vivid ones, now upon waking I can't recall a single one.
Weird.

Had a crazy apocalyptic dream a few nights ago - must be related to all this katrina/rita stuff happening in the world.... not to mention my sense of impending doom about the academic job market!! So I was in Berkeley in the dream, and a thunderstorm was starting. My roommate and I decided to go climb up into the Berkeley hills to watch the lightning. We had this crazy view of the entire sky and all the houses in Berkeley, and suddenly these enormous, yawning, flaming lightning flashes started streaking across the sky and completely incinerating entire houses. We could hear all this horrible screaming down below and we were watching entire houses just disappear into flames. We suddenly realized there was a predictable pattern of which houses were going to get hit, so we started running frantically around Berkeley trying to alert people that their houses were about to get incinerated and they needed to get out. But at this point, this insane, mammoth group of crazy people dressed in all blacks started flooding through the streets of berkeley, screaming and wailing and ululating and generally sounding like diamanda galas on crack. They were completely scary - definitely harbingers of the end times - dressed head to toe in these crazy flowing black robes, with every inch of skin painted black, and these insane black dreadlocks sticking out of their robes in all different directions, like they'd just stuck their fingers into an electric socket. They were running and rolling and crawling everywhere, shrieking like they were at the gates of hell. They made it impossible for us to get to any of the houses we wanted to get to, and I was completely panicking, just desperate to save at least one family. The dream basically ended with me about to get trampled to death by the crazy people in black, totally failing to save a single person from lightning-incineration. uplifting, eh? M
