I really do love that face. He just looks like a floppy, fuzzy stuffed animal come to life. Gorgeous.

This picture proves the existence of the soul. Somewhere in Cyberspace an exiled clown is sobbing uncontrolably ...

He looks like he's gonna be a great dog, Riley. I'm sure he'll fit right in as the other dogs will teach him his place. Also makes housebreaking a lot easier, as puppies tend to just follow the rest of the back in and out. At least that's been my experience. I've had my Dane for three years now, and he still tends to follow the mastiff and pit puppy, esp. the mastiff. If the pit tries to pick a fight with the mastiff, the Dane will come to her defense. I'm really glad they're both neutered. I don't think there's anything wrong with getting a dog from a (legit) breeder on occassion. Getting the whole puppy experience, and knowing (more or less) what the dog is going to grow into is worth something. And like you said, you know that this is one dog who'll never need to be adopted. BTW, after adopting an adult Great Dane, I would definitely do that again. If I had room, I'd take on another rescued giant breed, but I'm already spending about $60 a month on dog food ... plus treats, chew bones, etc. I probably spend around $100 a month on 'em, all in all. Worth every penny, though.

Fuuny, the kid in my avatar doesn't look like a poodle. Oh well, you're welcome anyway, Riley.

Great. Now I'm less worried about my new dog getting along with my other dogs than I am him trying to fuck the neighbour's kid in the face.

Golden/Poodle; I'll say it again – adorable – but he's going to be flaky as fuck.

Once again the boys took home a trophy at the Halloween contest, this time First Place Theme. Wife did a good job on both costumes, but Gilligan really stood out more: Punk rock pug was cool, too, but the judges really fucked this guy over. I bet his people were pissed.

Oh wow. Punk rock pug is awesome. That Gilligan hat is tough to argue against though.
I usually don't like it when people dress up their pets, but damn Luke, you and your wife are most excellent at it.

Why thank you. Other than covering them in purple stuff and beads around Mardi Gras, we only really dress them up for Halloween and Christmas cards.
Their costumes were semi-homemade...wife made the hats herself, and then got small shirts from Old Navy that she cut up, tapered, that kinda thing. The Gilligan shirt was solid red, so she cut the collar off and redid that herself.
We're thinking of selling some of our old Halloween costumes on e-bay, maybe. I know my Cobra Commander one could sell, at least.

My doggy died a couple weeks ago. I wasn't even there and they put him down and told me a week later. Fucking five years old.
Every time we tried to dress him up though, he'd just sit there looking confused and mortified. He wouldn't move. You must have trained your pugs pretty well to be okay with clothes luke.

Great looking pooch, Riley!
Luke, I guess your pug is now an official Castaway! What was the blue one?
Sorry about your dog, samps.
