SHANE! Decent to bump into ya here! I've only been poking around here for a couple of weeks....gave up on RS coming back to life.
How's the love life going? (or is there another board that I should check for that??)

Hmmm... There's no 'Bared Souls / Bared Brains' board here... Sure is needed, I think, Don... Thanks for the comments, Don and Stratman. That's quite a CD collection you have there, Don! I guess I need to just buy a CD and talk about it at 'New Music Purchase' or something. I can never get in and respond to posts in a timely fashion anyway. Them gold stars - y'know, they're just a ball and chain. Nobody wants to give me the time of day anymore. All this 'resist authority' stuff, I guess. Me, authority? Anybody want the keys?

So my apartment is shaping up, i'll have some pics asap (which doesn't mean much when i say it) to share.
Living in the city is ok, i've had two jobs and quit them both, as they both sucked ass. Still waiting for Riley and Drum to give me full time employment cleaning their houses as they are responsible for my well being and all.
Being away from the internet isn't so bad, i dont' feel like such a bum sitting here at RS.com all day. Instead of computer stuff i listen to records, look for jobs, eat good food, party all the time a la Eddie Murphy's girl, and have wild mood swings.
I hope people miss me, and notice my absence, especially bad grammar and typing errors.

As far as apartments shaping up....HA! Mine needs a frontloader or something to go through it! Almost scary thinking that there might be posibility of me being out of it by next summer....back to having a yard and all would be nice. Weeding, mowing and plain sitting on the back deck with a beer..... Speaking of which , BEER that is, in continuing efforts to combat my "spider bite" wound from 10 wks., the doc gave me some different meds which turns my piss a deep bright orange but in an even MORE distressing turns, is NOT to be popped while drinking alcohol. Now I like my quality brews and my wines with dinner and such so I decided to take a gamble on a non-alcoholic beer so picked up some Kaliber which is made by the folks at Guiness....My GoD was it *RaNk*!!! I expected a loss in taste but it's like spoiled corn or something.........ack ack ack as Bill The Cat might say. Anybody 'member Bill? From the "Bloom County" comic strip? Opus the penguin and all??? shit, I'm rambling,,,where in hell is that Nurse?? Prob'ly scared off by the orange piss. WTF, it *is* getting close to Halloween,,,,, NNNNUUURRRRSSSEE!!!!![/i] #nosmileys

I've got an ex-drinker buddy who called those non-alc beers a 'placebo'....and I remember having tried whatever version Strohs had out a few years ago....and oh YEAH it sucked. It sorta smelled like the real thing...but the taste was sorta metallic-y. Naw, there's no purpose to them... A spider bite?? WTF kinda bad luck do you have to have for something like THAT to fuck ya up? Did you know you felt bad from a bite that you KNEW happened(ie a spider on your arm and an 'OUCH')or is this a 'guess' diagnosis the Doc came up with due to a high regional incidence and obvious symptoms...? Oh. And Bill The Cat rules! Sort of a cartoon Hunter S Thompson...without speaking of course... ~ Oh...btw(since Strat mentioned 'im up there), I actually met 'the *bear' here on Thursday, while he's here(along with the wonderful Mrs *bear) for the Chicago Marathon 'run' tomorrow....trying to talk the wife into going down to watch tomorrow AM. Gotta cheer on the Louisiana RS contingent!
