Let me echo the feeling of pride concerning our national team. They done us proud and won the match fair and square (in spite of being put through the ringer for the best part of 90 minutes (plus ET)). It wuz only the ref who denied us our last minute moment of glory by pandering to the host nation and disallowing what referees the around the world have since said was a valid goal.
Shame on anyone who delights in such an act of unsporting treachery.

I didint' see the last minute goal, i'm not an addict like you lunatics. Plus i have a Benfica shirt, my coolness factor is going to skyrocket when i wear that...but not really cause everyone thing it looks like a old Iraqi golden eagle or something.  |

Don't blame the English. We both scored and conceded plenty of goals in our games, many of them from open play. That's 'cos English league soccer is attacking and end-to-end.
The Greeks are a very defensive team, and fit right in with Phil's general misconceptions.
