All this account deletion shit is goddamn ridiculous. Layla, dearest, did you ever go to that Dinosaur, Jr. show? Do you remember any of the playlist? I'm headed out to see them Saturday night, and I'm curious. BTW, Rocky loves him some Dino Jr., so this is completely on topic. I sure did. The setlist was very much centred around the first few albums (which I was damn happy with because they played LOUD). From what I can remember (& please excuse, I was very wasted that night): In a Jar, Forget the Swan, Gargoyle, Quest, Lose, Kracked, No Bones, Freakscene, Little Fury things, Mountain Man (encore, sweet)... there are a couple more I'm forgetting. but yeah, it was a great show. They were originally playing a smaller venue but there was so much demand for tix they moved to a 2000 capacity place, which for a band like Dino Jr in Sydney is pretty good. The crowd was ballistic for them, it was a lot of fun & there were more younger kids than I expected, too. Young skate punx. You'll have an awesome time. |

an entire board devoted to Rocky?..oy vey..now I've heard everything.....until Rocky accomplishes one of the following:
(1) cures cancer
(2) finds and enables the inner-Morrison
(3) can pose as effortlessly as Cale-Reed hybrid crica 1968 VU-era
(4) can find the Hebrew and Yiddish names for all the RS castaways members
...only once he endeavors to accomplish those four minor criteria, should a board be dedicated to him...
Till then, I'll just offer my two pence worth and say that indeed Rocky Rocks!!!

If you ask me, he should've been a Sir from the very first bar of "Its Not Unusual". ahem, Rocky has actually done all of these things. Well ok, he hasn't cured cancer but he found a radical new treatment for it. The only thing Rocky hasn't done is rub dongs with Thorn. Which is a good thing, I think.

Remember that speech teacher I was bitching about over at the Hate board? Well, I ran into her earlier tonight! She asked what I was doing; when I told her, she said that sounded right. I emailed JAC this morning and got a response this evening.
He says that his departure has nothing to do with anything in particular on these boards, and more to do with a simple prioritizing he's doing with his life. Things are fine with him, he just felt like it was time to step away.
