- Anorexia Nervosa - Black Sabbath - Children of Bodom - DIO !! (Second Son's most recent fixation ... - Gamma Ray - Hanker (local Band featuring one of the kids' High School Teacher) - Helloween - Hypocrisy - In Flames - Kreator - Mercenary - Nymphetamine - Sonata Artica - Savatage - ... My guess is they're both pretty much into Heavy-Duty HEAVY Metal ... !! Hmmmm *rubs chin*, methinks had I an iPod of me own, I'd wish to export some distinguished melodic heaviness from these parts over to your sons, Phil! Sounds as if they're into a healthy dose of it. Good on them ! ;D

la, do it! i'm thinking about going for le masters now, too, in art therapy...then another in good ole interdisciplinary studio art with medium emphasis on theory and lit... get stipends! make THEM pay for ALL of it! and dolly, as for not being sure if an "arty" degree counts on the scale of rigosity (is that a word?), *restrains* just be glad i'm not going off on a thick diatribe about that common misconception right now.... You can go off on one if you like, Sisyphus - I was only jesting (hence the cheeky smiley!). Maybe I should look at my style of message board interraction so as to offend a little less often I'm only narked that I don't have any kind of creative talent that I could channel into the pursuit of a career. Power to those of you that do, I say. But me personally.... well I'm still 'meh' about many of the traditional of arts aside from music and literature.

Gonna finish up my masters in a couple years, I'm working on something else right now. Wife is pursuing her masters so she can teach gifted.
Honestly have no clue how stuff works in Oz, plus I don't know what you 'd be going for, so I'm not sure if I could compare anything.

(i'm not very easily offended at all, and especially not by those i already like...) anyway, to defend myself and others of my faith against the common (and often only hallf-hearted or superficial) misconception that art degrees are slacker degrees and what not, i will have to return to this board later. i have a staff meeting, you see.

I was signed up to do a Masters in the September just gone, but I'm pleased I didn't as it was just career progression and not something I really wanted (not that particular Masters, that is). I intend to do something in Economics a little further down the line....
wow, I didn't know that. A Masters in anything finance or commerce-based would be lots o' work. Macroeconomics is sexy though.
My Masters would either be forensic psych coursework or research in genetics. I'm still trying to decide what I want to be when I grow up...
I can see Phil in winklepickers. Red ones.

la, do it! i'm thinking about going for le masters now, too, in art therapy...then another in good ole interdisciplinary studio art with medium emphasis on theory and lit...yaeh, I remember you were saying that previously. You should definately go for it, S. I have zero artistic talent. I can't even colour within the lines! and dolly, as for not being sure if an "arty" degree counts on the scale of rigosity (is that a word?), *restrains* just be glad i'm not going off on a thick diatribe about that common misconception right now.... I get het up when people don't believe dancing is more rigorous than most sports. BTW - just so its clear, any sign of arguments on this thread will be dealt with by my posting multiple pictures of partially naked celebrities. You can be a bitch everywhere else, but not here. I will smack yo ass down if you're a bitch here & then I'll write derogatory things about you on public toilet walls.

examples of things I'll write on public bathroom walls:
Phil wears red winklepickers
JLLM isn't hung like a shire horse
Luke has excessively hairy knees
etc

I eagerly await limericks.
There once was a man named Hall who had an hex-angular ball the cube of its weight times his prick, plus eight is his phone number, give him a call

Everyone write a limerick about someone else on the board (nothing offensive, except like about Phil & his winklepickers). Because I'm shit at writing them, I'll be the judge & the winner gets a free lapdance from Riley (accompanied by Maarts on the kazoo).
ready steady go.
