She's friends with the PM. She's a fanatic right-winger too and she had helped him with the elections earlier this year. He has also appointed himself Minister of Cultural Affairs just until the Olympics are over so that he can 'overlook' the whole situation.
BTW, the woman/bitch who is President of the Olympic Committee was also a politican with the right-wing party up until a few years ago. Until she married a Greek billionaire that is...

See, here, we do it the opposite. Mitt Romney had to prove he could pull off the Salt Lake City games before he got to be governor of Massachusettes. And I THINK that the dude who oversaw the Atlanta games was then mayor of Atlanta or something like that, but Shammy will tell me if I'm wrong there. If you screw up the Olympics, we don't let you have a city, state, or the country.

Have any of you guys ever watched Da Ali G Show? I had barely ever heard of it until last week, but I watched several episodes in a marathon HBO was running Friday night. I was howling I was laughing so hard. It has to be the funniest thing on tv. So why hadn't anyone told me about it yet? I love Ali G!!! Unfortunately, I love Wildboyz on MTV more, so I didn't see the debut of the new season last night. |

We have to start a new one over there pronto. I was thinking of starting another title tag thread where the first word of the song title has to be linked to that last word of the previous one.
That way you don't have 10 consecutive posts with the same word. It keeps changing.

I do like this form of it much better. Not only does it prevent the same word from being used over and over, but it SHOULD prevent the "This isn't really a tag, but it's SLIGHTLY similair so I'm posting it" crap

I have a feeling the new thread is gonna kill Meusault's over the next couple of days. Besides, it's much more of a challenge. The other one was a bit too easy and after a while I got tired of seeing the same titles over and over again.... sometimes in the same order too. |
