I should also observe, regarding that last picture, that it was approximately 105 degrees out, I had a horrible stomachache that day, and we had just walked uphill for about an hour and a half (Parc Guell is kind of above the city, it's quite a hike) so if there's an undercurrent of misery beneath the smile.... that's why!!! And also let me second how nice this board is, to see how everyone looks. stratman totally threw me for a loop, insofar as he really resembles what my dad looked like about 20 years ago, when he was sportin' his moustache!!! Weird. A fun one - this is me in the subway on Halloween two years ago. I am Pris from Blade Runner!  Here's the real Pris, by way of comparison:  Cheers, M |

That is a great photo Mary. You almost could pass as a Spaniard & that’s not a bad thing.

Only thing about this particular board is it makes me realize how few pic’s I actually have of myself.
Bloody hard when you are usually the one behind the camera.

Great pics rockkid!!! The too-many-shots one is really cute  More cool Barcelona stuff - this is the rooftop of the Pedrera apartments, with tons of these weird, abstract blobs that Gaudi built on top of it. I am standing in front of one of them, but the whole rooftop is full of 'em.  And more Halloween madness. As a flapper who had an unfortunate run-in with an axe murderer. My friend is suppoed to be the decapitated saint John the Baptist, but someone had run off with the amazing (gross) stuffed head he was carrying around with him on a tray (how John the Baptist is depicted in most artwork) so his costume is rather, um, incomplete here:  OK, that's it for me tonight!!! Whew Mary! Why do I feel relieved?! One more pic, then bedtime for Strat19. Apologies for digression and dis-connected thoughts...My mother is a very religious woman. My parents have always had a very shitty mailbox. A beat to hell, rusted, sorry excuse for a mailbox. I decided to make a mailbox worthy of my mother. I built this mailbox enclosure, in the form of a church, and inserted a non-rusting plastic mailbox within it. My mom was so thrilled, she insisted that she get a pic of me with it (crazy christian, anyway!) I am the good son! I'm also being completely sarcastic! Ah thanks M. Wasn’t to cute later that night when I did a slide in the snow & ended up cocktail dress hiked to the tits on landing. Not one of my finer moments.  I also remember a few of us splitting from the crowd for a tad & sitting in a darkened room with some chick who claimed to be a witch who was going to tell me “what my life would be like”. To bad she didn’t foresee that fall. Got dumped by a bf that night to, for a teeny bopper no less. Yes, a jam packed eve it was. |

I'll tell ya...I find these personal pix fascinating. You know Mary, I thought you'd be much more frightening looking- please don't take it wrong but all that talk about black, no pink and red streaks in your hair gave me wrong ideas... Strat- you remind me of Doug Henning! Sorry!
