The next two pix are of my store- looks hectic and it is...lots of sales-stuff about as you can see. There's eight long aisles as the one you see here (this is the pop department, the alternative/Heavy metal-section's pretty big too). We stock about 60.000 CDs here. Fluro everywhere. img.imagetown.net/90189492.jpg[/img] img.imagetown.net/77536018.jpg[/img]

Ehhh, there must be a compliment in there somewhere???
I met Andre once in 1986, tried to shake his hand and almost my whole forearm disappeared in his fist. He is/was huge!

maarts... What? Two copies of the Beatles 1962-1966 and only one copy of 1967-1970 in stock? And you call that a CD store?
Just kidding, of course...I have to say that as "hectic" as your store may be, you have utilyzed bright colors to achieve a very pleasing effect. The place looks very cool. A few days ago I visited the CD store where I used to work, and was really disappointed with how drab and cluttered the place was. The guy who owns it should have moved into a bigger building a long time ago.

That picture of maarts and kat is very cute - though the banana is very clearly the star of the pic And stratman, what a great mailbox - could I commission you to build an indoor sculpture of Nick Cave for me? Scary-looking? I couldn't look scary if I tried - all through my life, strangers have always thought I was about 5 years younger than I really am, and have constantly treated me like a lost little girl! Just a few weeks ago, i was meeting a friend in downtown oakland and I was a bit early and wanted to stop by an atm first, so I asked a security guard where the nearest ATM was, and he responded like I was a 10 year old who got lost by myself in the mean streets of Hell's Kitchen or something. It was ridiculous. Anyway, I've never tried to look scary! It's true that I wear back all the time, but black hoodies really aren't all that intimidating Though you should see my KMFDM boots with the giant buckles - that's as close as I get to scary!! Cheers, M

- all through my life, strangers have always thought I was about 5 years younger than I really am, and have constantly treated me like a lost little girl! same here. i still get people asking if i'm in HIGH SCHOOL though i'm well on my way to 25 now! Really, this is not a good thing. and then they act like it's supposed to have been a compliment, but really, it isn't except it's mildy comforting if i'm in the rare mood where I actually feel old. But I am cursed with the Jennifer Tilly-esque voice (ok, so maybe not as annoying, just high in pitch) too, so that doesn't help matters. Maybe when I'm 30 I'll be taken a bit more seriously. I don't like being constantly patronized and condescended to, sometimes by people the same age as I am who assume they are older! Now that I got that out of my system...I'm gonna figure this scanner thing out soon.

Yay, I can't wait to see pics of lumen!!! OK, a few more from me - can't resist sharing halloween pics, I love halloween This is one of my best friends, as Laura Palmer from Twin Peaks (for those who don't know, Laura Palmer was found wrapped in plastic, covered in mud and leaves, murdered down by a river bank) and me as Pris again, in that scene when she is hiding among all the toys and has a veil over her head. The pictures around my friend's neck is the picture of Laura Palmer from the show that sits on her parents' mantle place: Here she is again, tragically dead in the Berkeley subway station: Hard to believe based on these hideous images, but she's actually a beautiful person!! Cheers, M

And here is Pris again, with a cat and a dead, frozen mountain climber: And one of my roomies, as a flapper, in my living room - so you can see a bit of my apartment in this pic as well (actually they're all in my apartment but the others aren't particularly revealing): Cheers, M

This is great! Man, I wish I had a picture of me when my band played a frat party and I dressed as Alex from A Clockwork Orange. Man, that was a great costume. It really went over. I used that one several times. Maybe the Shanester will put up one of his Alex pics.
O, my brothers!
