This time I was able to see the pics ... quite good! Looks like you've got a lot of potential with this.

I took a design class and everyone in there pretty much could draw already. I was really petrified the first day of class when the Professor said "well I hope everyone in here has at least taken the drawing I class". I was ....um..... But I gave it shot. I know its mediocre at best, but hey at least I was able to draw more than a stick figure.

Those are some real nice paintings, Angel. (It'll take some time getting used to calling you "Tuatha" ) There's a very nice ambience to all of them. I like the colors you used in Stonehenge. Looks like you got a talent there. Keep em comin'!

Here is a project I did in my design class. We had to make two collages, one in color and one in black and white. We then had to sketch the color one and paint the black and white one using color. She didn't give us very much time at all to work on this. You can really see the brush marks on the lower painting of space. If I spray it though I am guessing it will conceal a lot of that. But then again, it kind of looks just like light and globs of stuff in space. LOL Oh and the drawing, well some of that area on the left is much darker the flash bounced off of it.

Here is another project. The Professor took a picture of everyone and cut them in half, handed them out and we had to paste the picture down then draw the other half to resemble our own hair and face.

wow . . . I'm interested in seeing how you'll depict those Northern Lights (the colors are made for you). That eye was Thorngrub's avatar on the old rollingstone boards. It's a (close-up) self-portrait I did with oil pastels in 1988. The original got thrown out with the trash (an old girlfriend's senile dad). The .jpg is all that remains.

Damn that sucks thorn that the painting was thrown out. Maybe you should paint another one. I am using acrylics right now. I just got some oil pastels but I haven't used them yet. This is all pretty new to me, I am not a painter really and don't know much about it. I know that I would never be able to stand the fumes of the regular oil paints, unless they have the kind that aren't so bad. My mom use to paint when she was younger and she used oil.

Tuatha, you are very talented. Very nice work. The only "artwork" I have a propensity for is manipulating digital images in my PhotoMax program. But I'm not too ashamed of 'em not to share...

Thanks Jac. I like your work as well. When I took my digital publishing class we covered the photo manipulation, its the main form of art in the advertising business today.
