A bit of a no-brainer for me. Radiohead.
Although both Urban Hymns and Definitely Maybe would trouble my all-time top 50 albums list. The Cure's 90's output was vastly inferior to their 80s stuff imo.
(U2 didn't qualify for this poll, as Eire is not part of the UK)

Is the Cure really 90s? I consider them more 80s. I mean, their masterpiece was released in 89.
And The Verve's Urban Hymns is one of the best albums released in the 90s, but their output was too small for them to be considered a true giant of the 90s. Travis is boring and Oasis were mmmkay.
This poll is obviously biased towards Radiohead. JLLM is giving you a bunch of questionable choices so that you have no other option than to vote for Thom and his Mangy Eye. I will not be sucked into your ruse, Looks Like Me.
Robbie Williams is the dreamiest.

I s'pose that means The Cure is merely . . . timeless, or somethin. Cuz someone, you're right -- essentially, The Cure is the quintessential 80's band -- yet, since they've survived not only well into the 90's but beyond them -- I guess that just means they qualify after all.

Shit, forgot Pulp...
Tell you what, we'll open it up to 11 bands, so if you want to vote for Pulp, Manics (because you are a cunt) or Suede just say so.

I have some issues with the selection of bands on that list (the Cure in a 90s list instead of Suede or Pulp? Prodigy instead of Massive Attack, Portishead or Primal Scream? Travis?!), but ultimately, it doesn't matter because my vote would go to Radiohead anyway regardless of who the competition is.

i'm voting for Pulp. hence i am abstaining from casting a vote because the panel is rigged.

Such a tough one, but even with just three proper studio releases, I'm going with the Verve. I listen to them more today than any of the other bands.
Incidentally, I think Suede are the most underated Brit band of the 90's, even if only attributable tyo their first two studio albums.

definitely Pulp...."different class" outclasses all by a fathom.........uneqivocally...how could you leave Pulp out....JLLM?...but, if I was to restrict myself to your shortsighted list, I guess I'll go with Oasis........
The fact is the music from UK was much better in the 60s, 70s, and 80s, then it was in the 90s......
e.g.......beatles, who, rolling stones, kinks, hermans hermits (!!), XTC, sex pistols, clash, buzzcocks, the the, elvis costello, graham parker, etc etc....
there is no comparison........Radiohead is absolutley dreary when juxtaposed with the giants of the prior decades!!
