jeff buckley wins here, although ween and radiohead are also headliners. these are so difficult...too many good choices. thanks for leaving out all that pop shit like matchbox 20 and ben folds his 5 or whatever.

See, I disagree with that. I think that A) Ben Folds Five was a good pop act and B) every decade had its fair share of crap. But release for release I think the nineties were the best decade for music.

I'll agree that they're the best after the 70s. I don't think there will EVER be a better decade than that. That's just me though. Nah, I'm sure plenty of others think that. HEY, what a great idea for a poll!!!

I think that every decade has had its share of garbage, but over time most of the really bad stuff is forgotten. The '90s were still recent enough for that stuff to be sort of fresh on the mind. But the best of the '90s was (almost?) as good as the best of any other decade, I think.
