True, Jane's Addiction only had one album in the 90s, but IMO it's the best album of the whole damn decade after Blind Melon. I don't list it on my favorite albums list cuz I never listen to it. "Three Days" has some pretty blasphemous lyrics even though it's one of the greatest songs ever written. And some of the other ones bother me as well, such as "Aint No Right."
Anyhoo, my vote goes to Blind Melon of course. I expect Radiohead to win this one even though when we voted for best 90s artists on the RS Project, Pearl Jam won.

I forgot R.E.M. and Tool. SHIT! My bad guys. Everbodee Knows Radiohead was the best band of the 90s anyhow. They just don't happen to be my favorite.

I voted for Pearl Jam, I don't really consider Radiohead and a few of the other bands "90's band"s and while I think PJ has done some of their best stuff in 00's they represent "the 90's" more then of the other bands up there.

Well said. I think one of the best albums of the 90's was Pearl Jam's No Code. Also, the Beastie Boys would be a close second for me. Not that I think they are any better or worse from other 90's groups, but their influence broke down genre's, and throughout their career have made consistently good albums. Although Paul's Boutique was released in 1989, it really set the blue prints for many of the sounds heard throughout the 90's. Plus they were just so cool back in the day.... it's like the Beasties help usher in the whole vintage thing in the 90's, w/ low budget videos (so whatcha want, and sabotage), and the multiple fusions of sounds they brought together.
