Hope I did a little better on this one. I really don't know how to vote on this one since Pink Floyd and Led Zeppelin are an absolute tie, in my book. I guess I'll go with the one who wrote DSOTM.

Although The Who made a few great albums in the 70"s I'll always considered them a 60's band ...

Voted for the Clash on this one....Where the hell is AC/DC? Powerage is one of the best albums from the 70's (1978) w/o a doubt.

The Who for me - so they did some of their best work in the 60's, but from the 70's they put out 3 flat-out fantastic studio albums and (with the later release of the Isle of Wight show) 2 superb live albums.
