Sorry, but "With or Without You" is U2's masterpiece.
It is everything that is great about that band condensed into a 4 minute sonic orgasm.

I almost went with the majesty and grace of 'one' but ended up with Unforgettable Fire...I know some of you aren't big fans of that LP, but that title song just synthesizes all of the merits of U2..and there is a instrumental passage towards the last verse/chorus with this violin that is literally chilling.....

Don't really like U2, Bono is a twat, but WOWY is an undeniably beautiful song.
