Of course, that last one was a joke.

I'd have had "Even Better Than the Real Thing" (and I'm sure a few more) up there but gotta go with "With or Without You" as well. Absolutely perfect song that no amount of over-exposure has ever been able to diminish.

I voted for "Pride", but I'd have voted for "Mothers of the Disappeared" if it was a choice.

I'm afraid that Drum voiced my sentiments for me ... WOWY is absolutely perfect, and it doesn't matter how many times they play it, or how many times I hear it. When Springsteen talked about "some of the most beautiful sonic architecture in rock" this was what he was referring to.
New Year's Day would be my second choice, but WOWY is the evergreen classic, simply untouchable.

I picked Stuck In A Moment...I'm not a big U2 fan, I like the big slick radio stuff better then the early stuff. Acthung Baby and All That You Can't Leave Behind are my two favorites...

I vote Unforgettable Fire from the list above though. It's also their best album.

I was torn between one and unforgettable Fire..went for the utter grace and humanity of One...though at that time, I coudn't stand their image...

I've written it here before, but the first time that I heard 'In A Little While' I was guessing that maybe it was some sort of a great lost John Lennon track due to the wonderful phrasing and the way that Bono's expressing longing in the way his voice cracks as he's singing this beautiful, compact melody...
This was Bono-as-Irish-Soulman, and perfectly, as far as I was concerned. A triumph.

Um bow, if you went with "One", how come it has no votes? Is this some kind of new hanging chad bowiglouism?

Well said, Dr. D. Well said. "Expecting To Fly" by Buffalo Springfield is the ONLY song I would ever prefer over this one.

JLLM is right. Acrobat should've been on there. Pure genius.

I'd vote for MLK as that song, s un-U2 as it is, just moves me. The live-version of Bad from Live Aid rules after that, so there goes my vote...
