Picking between "New Slang" and "Gone For Good", for me, is like picking between U2, Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd which is the greatest band. Impossible. I'll give it to "Gone For Good", I guess, since "New Slang" is probably going to get at least one vote.

I am gonna go with Saint Simon, but Caring is Creepy is pretty close. I love the Shins.

i voted for "kissing the lipless," although "caring is creepy" and "the celibate life" were close seconds...
why do i associate the shins so closely with spoon? hrmm. oh, i know. they're back to back on a mix i've got... whoa...my outloud voice and in head voices are tangled up...freak...i'm a bit tipsy.

I voted for "Caring is Creepy" as it's surely my favorite from the only Shins record I have.

I can't get The Past and the Pending out of my head more than any of their songs so it wins my vote.

How, I ask, how did "New Slang" not get a single vote. This is insanity. That song and "Gone For Good" are so far above the rest. They aren't even close.
