I was going to post my top fifteen just now, but realized that I need to go relisten to some stuff first.
I also really do need to buy some more "current" releases. I thought about buying whatever came out on top in this poll, but after looking at what some of you guys have at number one, I'm not gonna lock that option in. At a minimum, I think I really do need to get that Franz Ferdinand, the Libertines, and a few others.

I'm going to have alot of trouble with this one...mine probably won't look like too many of the previous lists.

Wish I could've included A Ghost is Born and Kid A, but I prefer getting more different bands in. Those two could fit in the top ten for sure. All That You Can't Leave Behind almost made the cut as well, but I haven't listened to it in a while.

The new Built to Spill album is better than half of my list.
mine probably won't look like too many of the previous lists.
Mantis - I'm looking forward to your list for that very reason.

I don't think I'm familiar w/ enough new artist to list 15 best albums of this century....Outside of Wilco, I haven't heard much newer music I like....
I've listened to the Constantines, BRMC, At The Drive In, the Mars Volta, the Zutons, the Stokes, Franz Ferdinand, the Hives, Modest Mouse, Clem Snide, Death Cab for Cutie, My Morning Jacket, Kings Of Leon, as well as a few others, and I haven't been that impressed w/ any of them. I don't think any of the bands I listed are terrible by any means, just not that great. Maybe I need to give them all more listens...

IMO, The Constantines are great. the Strokes are bit meh.. especially recently. Franz Ferdinand are pretty awesome. and Modest Mouse is in demi-god status. the Kings of Leon are way overrated.
