Hopefully this list found your favorite. I bet for a lot, it didn't, as is the case with many of my polls. Sorry. I just picked my favorites.

Hard to pick just one, right now I'd probably pick One Piece At A Time...but it's not a choice.

Oh yeah, "I Walk the Line" gets my vote. There are two versions of this song: one that is sped up and one that is slower. Unfortunately, the slower one is the one that is on most of the collections. The more sped up one is much better, if anyone knows what I'm talking about here. I usually prefer to pick obscure gems from bands, but this is simply Cash's best song.

In the absence of "Long Black Veil" I choose "Five Feet High and Rising."

Gotta go with Folsom Prison Blues - at least for today. Though Mantis, I'm with you on One Piece at a Time. Classic.

I voted for "Folsom Prison Blues"; thats the song that really opened my ears up to Mr. Cash; plus I love the guitar riff...

Doing my bit for the Goth section - Man in Black.
Twas a toss up between that and Folsom Prison Blues, but Cookie had just voted for that, so I thought I'd be different. Cocaine Blues is up there too....

Johnny Cash is Eldest Son new Music Hero ... LoL !! We spend years being embarrassed by and didding our folks music, then when we get to college we do a complete 360 and adopt it as if it is our own. Weird dat. My mum and dad don't know half as much about the Kinks, Stones, or Johnny Cash as I do.

Cocaine Blues is fucking great! I had trouble w/ this vote, but had to go w/ the song that got me into JC in the first place.
