BTW, Riley is right that High and Dry is Ded Lizard's best record. That's not saying too much, but it's true.
Thanks for reminding me that not everything done in the late seventies and early eighties was worth remembering ... god I wish I could forget this shit.
But those Heart LPs listed earlier weren't that bad ... some killer singles ... how can you not love Barracuda?

Yeah Ken, I should look into grabbing some of that dignity stuff you're referring to back if at all possible. I seem to have misplaced mine tonight.

So do I but I never would order that large quantities of those titles....hang on, except for the Men At Work because it is budget (AUS$6,99)... Oh, it's all used vinyl. When I buy a whole box it's pretty much garunteed to have one of those in it. Ah so desu ka! My record player's down the fritz. So sorry!

It's time to bring this ship into the shore and throw away these oars foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ...
One of the single most annoying accents in rock.
When I said that I loved you, I meant that I'd love you foreverrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr ...

Early REO totally trounces Styx's ass! I'll give you that hearing "Keep On Lovin' You" for the bazillionth time about drove me to suicide in the late 80's but if it was "Mr. Roboto" comin' on the radio I'd be wanting to take a few other people along with me! Absolutely. REO's first three or four albums were very respectable rock and roll, and great stuff, too! Then they went cheeze. Styx was always cheeze. But in the end, they seem better because they weren't quite as cheezy as REO became. Still, gotta vote for REO, with the notation that anything after "You can't tuna fish" was shit. And that was borderline - they were well on their way down Cheeze Road. So sad. Give REO TWO a spin and you'll see what I mean.
