My vote: Another solo album. I loved Euphoria Morning and Soundgarden were already showing signs of 'losing it' with Down On The Upside. Even the Audioslave albums were better than that piece o' crap...

I voted for keep working with Audioslave, but it's actually a "don't care" vote. Soundgarden has two good albums and Audioslave has one good album between the two albums. I've just never been very enamered with Cornell like some seem to be.

I actually liked Audioslave's first album. The second was patchy, to say the least.

I voted for a new solo album. His first solo album was brilliant (that's right, brilliant! I do declare it one of the most underrated albums of recent rock history). Soundgarden was better, but nothing good can come from a reunion. I have the first Audioslave CD. Listened to it once. Didn't warrant another spin. And the newer one is total crap.

I voted for another solo album, but mainly just for Rocky's enjoyment. I also gave serious thought to the last choice.

Even bad Soundgarden was heaps better than good Audioslave (i.e. the first album). Euphoria Morning was pretty good but I feel that anything Cornell these days does he needs to be connected with someone who doesn't let him geto too self-indulgent.
When the first Audioslave-album arrived I really liked it but it has really worn off on me.

I don't have any idea what the first song Cornell released off Euphoria Morning is called. I only heard it once and absolutely fell in love with it. It reminded my of the stellar musicianship that crafted his best song: "Seasons" off the "Singles" soundtrack. Someone please tell me the name of that song so I can download. Btw, it's not the one about the girl that was going to change the world but "she can't change me." I'm pretty sure it came out before that one.

I voted for "he sucks". Seriously, after basically making what to me is a very bad version of Bad Company, he should just continue to have kids and give it up.

The lead-off single from Euphoria Morning was that song you're talking about, "Can't Change Me". Maybe you're referring to his contribution to the Great Expectations soundtrack, "Sunshower". It came a few months before the solo album, and in some parts is included as a bonus track on the EM album.

For anyone who cares...
New Audioslave LP: 'Led Zeppelin Meets Earth, Wind & Fire' In the words of Audioslave guitarist Tom Morello, the rock and roll group's forthcoming third opus is an "ass-kicker."
As fans might expect, the still-untitled LP (Morello said the band's toying with the idea of naming it Revelations) is bursting at the seams with the kind of brutal riff rock that's become Audioslave's trademark. But at the same time, they've woven deep '70s funk and soul grooves with heavy guitars, "and it's a pretty potent combination," he said.
When the album drops (Morello dispelled reports that it will surface in June), expect the end result to be "really unique" and "as hard-rockin' an album as we've ever made," the guitarist said.
"If you want your ass kicked, you've come to the right place," he added. "And you may have the opportunity to shake that ass too."
These "ass-kicking" comments seem really juvenile to me. They remind me of Lars Ulrich's comments a few years back, just before Metallica released "St. Anger" claiming it would "kick your ass".
Yeah, right Lars! You wish that disaster kicked some ass! Wanker...

None of these guys have ever been good in my opinion. Frat rock. Just nothing more than wee frat rock from a bunch of fakers.

I want Cornell to keep working with Audioslave and record another solo album. I want it both ways dammit!
Aside from Pissin, I may be the only admirer of St. Anger on this board. Having said that, I don't feel like defending that any further; I did enough of that shit the year it came out.

I'm a big fan of solo Cornell. And I wish Scott Weiland would record another solo album, too, because 12 Bar Blues is fantastic.
Adioslave are like a heavier Foo Fighters. Bland. I tune them out very easily, so its almost like they don't exist. Which sucks, because both Soundgarden & RATM were brilliant (the former more so).
The groupies say that Chris Cornell is thick as two bricks but great in bed. Thats how I like rock stars: pretty & stupid. God bless you, Chris Cornell.
