What was the nadir of David Bowie's long and illustrious career? I think I've pretty well covered the options up there, so pick one and then tell us why.
And as an added bonus, I plan on putting up a YSI link here this weekend so that anyone so inclined can hear the awfullness of the remastered version of David Live, perhaps the worst live recording ever issued by a major artist. Feel free to post your examples of "the worst of David Bowie" here as well!

LOL! I thought you might pick that one, ThoRnaramavitch. Have you heard David Live, BTW? You'll get your chance soon ... and it will cause you great pain. Listen to me now, hear it later. I'm torn here ... I didn't think of the horrid "Dancing in the Street" video/single until I was almost done with this, but that just might be the worst thing that either Bowie or Jagger have ever done. Wonder if it's on YouTube?

Man, it might take awhile to pick just one. I'll have to think about it.

By his own admission, due to excessive drug use, Bowie has no recollection of the year 1975 ... It's probably a good thing ! !

Both of them look like they has no idea what the hell they are doing there with the other yahoo ... !! Indeed I did! I completely forgot about that, as I'm sure that Bing's family wanted to as well. I remember seeing that when I was a kid (this had to have been c. '75, wasn't it?), and having the basic reaction of "WTF?" I knew a little bit about rock and roll at that point, and a lot about schmaltzy Christmas numbers (via my parents), and this wasn't either one. Two worlds collide without ever meeting. Should've made the above list, though I guess it fits into one of the numerous "other" categories I created.

Who picked the fascist salute/imagery? I wasn't sure if anyone other than Bowiglou would even remember that one.

Ken ~ Guess who is the other guy here old enough to have seen that tour ... ? Noted! Well then, at least someone will appreciate the level of Bowie trivia that this list encompasses.

Bing & David performing Little Drummer Boy is one of the most precious moments in the Bowie oeuvre, and yet another "high point" of his carrer imo.
