Rocky: I deleted everything I had to say about that photo. Looks like they had their tea though.

You know the low point of Bowies career? I watched a concert on Pay Per View during the Reality tour and he was reading off a Lyric Sheet FOR ALL THE SONGS ON REALITY. I cant be too hard on him cos he is three times my age and has a huge catalog, but man! That killed it. For some reason that irked me. HORRIBLE.

I'm pretty sure David Bowie, Mick Jagger, and Lou Reed all spent time in the sack with one another on more than one occasion.

I'd rather have them crib with lyrics than botch the words up really bad. I'd do the same thing in his shoes.

That really cheesy "Let's Dance" song... not what I really want to remember Bowie for...

Speaking as someone with a horrible memory, I can see the need to have a lyrics sheet - especially if your body of work was large enough to mix / forget things... I don't have anything against cheat sheets, if ya wanna call them that!
I just have problem with "lets Dance" and lyrics like "put on your red shoes and dance the blues"..... ughhh forgettable - maybe thats why he needs a lyrics sheet...

"Lets Dance" is a bad ass song. You're crazy.
I also voted for Bowie can do no wrong. I just love the dude.
Also, anyone mentioning "Low" in any sort of negative connotation is going to get dragged out into the alley for a knife fight. The one where I have a huge Bowie Knife and you are stuck there in your underwear with a plastic knife.

"Lets Dance" is a bad ass song. You're crazy. True. It's the first song that got me into Bowie's music too.

No offence intended, but Let's Dance makes me cringe... but more power to those who like it!

Bowie has said that he's sick of "Let's Dance," too. Which is why he reworked it for his tours this decade. The slow-fast version on the (exceptional) Bowie at the Beeb bonus disc is now the only way he'll perform the song.
I've always rather liked the track, myself. I love the way he just tosses the words out, as if they have no real meaning. And come to think of it, they really don't. Still a great track, IMO.
