Yay for Amoeba!!!! Best fucking record stores in the world. My personal highlight on both trips to San Fran.........that, and downing a few at the Toronado further up the street -- rudest fuckin' bartender ever and I loved every second of it! When this one customer's dog took a shit on the floor was just ONE classic moment I'll never forget. |

I've already got it dl'd . . . and I agree.
Just figure it would be a goodun to have store bought.
... plus, am hoping for the 7" bonus vinyl. (They're probably all gone by now, but still. One can dream;)

sigman put the new white stripes on when i drove him back to the airport. it makes me happy and i should really pick it up. somehow in the next three days i must find a way to burn off twelve cd's that my ex insists that i take with me to portland. as if i don't have enough things to tie up before i go. i have to say, i am pretty excited about a lot of it though; why couldn't he have been this cool when we were still together.   pioneers. and out of print.  mostly spoken word -- also rare!  backwards records kids from seattle  mmmm soma....   noise industrial compy i haven't heard but which apparently has some BADass tracks.  the latest snog  latest public enemy  according to my record store owning friend, this is the best album out this year. ummmmmmm.... ok.  CLASSIC. i finally have it.  loungecore at its sexxxxiest, haha.  our friend chris's band  a backwards records comp to help spread the word to people out there phooo. no sleep till portland. |

I really like it even though Pitchfork ripped it apart due to the fact that their new drummer (who is from the Juan MacLean and !!!) has a mustache is kind of weird outside the stage.
It has a really cool Krautrock feel to it and I really like it.

I saw that on vinyl in the record store yesterday, noticed it was on the temporary residence label, and wondered what it sounded like. I had actually never heard of Maserati before.
