Someone emailed me this one. Thought it was so good I'd share it here:
One evening an old Cherokee told his grandson about a battle that goes on inside people. He said, "My son, the battle is between two wolves inside us all.
One is Evil. It is anger, envy, jealousy, sorrow, regret, greed, arrogance, self-pity, guilt, resentment, inferiority, lies, false pride, superiority, and ego.
The other is Good. It is joy, peace, love, hope, serenity, humility, kindness, benevolence, empathy, generosity, truth, compassion and faith."
The grandson thought about it for a minute and then asked his grandfather: "Which wolf wins?"
The old Cherokee simply replied, "The one you feed."

Gosh. I just saw a crystal light commercial. Am watching Golden Girls. Commercial time.
Used to be my theme song during the 80's:
"I BELIEVE IN CRYSTAL LIGHT, 'CAUSE I BELIEVE IN ME."
Ah yes...I remember it well.

Noticed that my fav store Albertsons in addition to the HEB conglomerate now has two, yes TWO more competing stores in a 3 mile radius. The dreaded Walmart Supercenters folks!. Yes!! Two of them. Opened this week! This makes three walmarts in a 3 mile radius! One fortunately is not a supercenter.
Poor Albertsons. Their not gonna know what hit 'em.
The bright side is I can see the twos for ones in the meat dept. anydays now...

Hey we were just talking about HEB. My buddy’s mom has one near her place in Texas & she hates them w a capital H. Apparently they made all these promises about what they’d carry when they opened & instead seem to stock only the crap they can’t sell elsewhere. I guess it’s the only store near her small town.

Gosh. A town without a walmart.
How unusual.
HEB is mainly a grocery/food store. Like Bashes in AZ. Tom Thumb in Dallas, Fry's in Az.
They stock what sells.
One of these days its gonna be nothin' but wall to wall walmarts as they slowely squeezes and crushes their competitors into bankruptcy.
The world...conquered by Walmart.
Gosh help us all...
