Sheet you’re right pat I’d almost forgotten. Now I distinctly remember walking by a theater poster for it in HS. Never did see the whole flick though only scraps here & there. I have to try & snag that ole thing some where. Wonder is it even out on a rental?

As most of you regulars know, I am a "Wizard Of Oz" fan. As such, when I saw this pic' of Madonna (actually watched her pick up an award for the U K Music Hall Of Fame Awards on telivision I believe) I thought to myself: "Poppies will put them to sleep...sleeeeep." "Wicked witch, or no wicked witch..."

Much (our version of MTV) had Evita on this w/end. As usual I caught only a bit. I’ve really really got to rent that sucker. I’ve heard it’s the only flick save for Desperately Seeking that she's worth a damn in.

Boy did I make out today at my favorite Albertsons store. 12 packs of coke for 1.98 (limit three) B1G1F on Lays chips, 3 of the 64 oz. gaterades at 3 for 5, packages of fresh baked cinnamin rolls at 10 for 10 or a buck a piece, 67 cents for a dozen large grade a eggs (EGGS FOR SALE) and the sale of the week... the one even I the great Patlogi gasped on was the buy 1 package of eskimo pies get TWO, yes folks, I said TWO packages free. B1G2F.
Only thing interesting in the meat dept. was boneless chicken thighs. At one really good sale. Unfortunately I, the great Patlogi don't eat (although I have swallowed a time or two) dark meat.
Whats really annoying is I was waiting in line to get rung up and I noticed in the other aisle these two women with at least 12, 12 packs of coca cola products. The sign specified clearly 3 was the max. the limit. no exceptions. Comprende?
Apparently these two rather large women who look the type that spend quite a while (as in LONG TIME, HOURS, DAYS...GET THE PIC?) at the all you can eat pizza hut buffets didnt read the sign.
Pissed me off 'cause I know they walked out with all those 12 packs each at 1.98.
