Jigs dinner is what people usually make for St. Pats Day. Corned beef, cabbage, carrots and potatoes. All boiled together, v-good Bridge.

Ever have cows tongue? My mother used to make it when I was a kid every now and again. From what I recall, it wasn't too bad. Not something I'd make for myself these days.
Need to pick up some liver next time I go to the grocery. That and a cookbook to make it.

Cool, I love old places like that. Went to a sweet one in Boston once, the name escapes me but the halls were ridiculously narrow and the rooms not very big but the food and atmosphere was top notch. Just came across a matchbook from the place I ws trying to remember: The Oyster House, intact and serving since like 1826.

Yeah, we passed The Oyster House while walkin' the freedom trail in Boston. We had lunch at a couple places; an italian restaurant (high priced and so-so food,) a chinese restaurant at Plymouth (where the infamous rock resides, moderately priced and excellent food) and Legal's seafood for dinner. (Great salmon.)

I’m on my own tonight so its pizza for moi. Mediterranean w feta & all associated (save for any sea food) I’m salivating even as I wait on the delivery guy. Speaking of things foodish in a round about way……. Yesterday I had the day off & went shopping for a new dinning set. All I wanted was deep warm wood & 4 chairs. Christ you’d think I wanted the world. Seems in my town (cue hillbilly music) no one wants my money (they have such good business sense, not). One guy (at The Brick) actually refused a sale when I offered to up grade $$$ & buy his F*ing floor model (the one I had been eyeing had a 4 week wait. Some port strike in Vancouver or some such) Oh noooooo he says we can’t sell our floor models then people can’t visualize. Well holy fuck he only had 30 other different sets there. Asshole! Nary shall I & my money darken that store again. So 4 more furniture stores later I found a nice set, bought it, new cushions & mats as well. Soon as I get the digi cam up & running again I’ll snap it. Wood sort of matches my kitchen cupboards. So now I’m happy but I just can’t believe people turn down money like that. Not to bright IMO.

Rock, I wanna feel for your serach but cannot. My friggin kitchen is so small I had to find a barbie set on Ebay! I can only fit 3 chairs at a time and if more than two people sit I have to turn the dang table.
But I can understand your frustration. Take pics when you can. I love seeing posters homesteads.
