(((One day I will go ski in those parts ... )))
Things I love in summer ...
Firing up the BBQ to cook a large-Tequila marinated-salmon followed by one monstrous-Southern Dry Rub-pork loin ...
Tell the kids if they're hungry, there is fresh lettuce in the garden, french bread in the pantry, homemade mayo. in the fridge ...
Just go crazy, I'm not making a single meal all week ... !!

Everywhere I look right now, I see delicious food, it's killing me.
I WOULD love if Proboards had spoiler tags. Those things are frikkin' essential.

An html tag that looks like What happened on TV last night/What happens at the end of a movie/An oversized image/A naked lady/etc. It appears as text saying "Spoilers", and you can only read or see what's in it when you click on it and a box expands to show you the "spoiled" content. Makes it much easier to post on movie boards when you don't want to read results, and you never have to worry about stuff being "safe for work" or images being too large, because you can just hide it in the spoiler tag with a quick warning above it.

I love Adam's avatar. I get sucked into it, will just stare at it for minutes on end. Riley's current cowbell one too.

I love Thai Food Fridays. Spring rolls, chicken satay and Thai noodle soup will be in my belly in just over an hour. Mmmm.

Mmm, spring rolls. Some in the freezer right now, always on hand.
I love these boudin spring rolls they make at one of the meat markets around here. Boudin...in a spring roll shell. Ranks in the top ten foods I've ever tasted.

Ranks in the top ten foods I've ever tasted. I've actually never had boudin, but that sounds ridiculously good. Spring rolls make me deliriously happy. One of the most delicious foods ever dreamed up. I have some in our freezer right now too but they're not very good - can't remember where we got them. I need to learn to make my own... but it just seems like so much work when I can go to any one of a zillion amazing Thai restaurants around here and just eat theirs instead.

Thai Food Friday sounds like a wonderful tradition. I might have to pick up something from the little hole-in-the-wall Thai place near my apartment tonight. Oh man.

Pho is the best food ever in the history of man. I could eat it every day, but all the Vietnamese pho restaurants are on the other side of town and the only person who will eat it with me is my ex boyfriend. I must find a new pho partner.
