Down here, the period between fall and winter is called "summer." Not to mention it's January, and I'm about to leave for work in short sleeves. This weather has been pretty fucked up, though. We were averaging 40s and 50s in October, but since then, it's been all upper 60s to mid 70s. Not normal. We've been in the sixties for the most part this week, too. A few weeks back it was in the seventies (and it got up to at least 69 earlier this week). I've had the top off on the Bimmer most days, at least for the drive home or for lunch. Even by El Paso standards, this is an insanely mild winter. No rain/snow either (yes, we do normally get one or two days when it snows each winter), which isn't so great for the water res. situation. Global warming, what can ya do?

Hey Dolly: Looking at your profile I see that you are from Godivaland, England. Is that where Godiva chocolates originate?

Hey Dolly: Looking at your profile I see that you are from Godivaland, England. Is that where Godiva chocolates originate? Hey Patlogi, sorry I didn't see your post before now.... You probably realise that by 'Godivaland' I mean that I live in Coventry - where Lady Godiva came from. Same place that Jllm lives - same house indeed, since he kidnapped me from York and bundled me off to Cov, never to return. Anyway, I digress. To answer your Q on Godivaland chocolates. I've never acually heard of them to be honest. I don't think they actually sell them here. I'd be interested to know if they were any good, being the chocoholic that I am...

Starbucks has this sun dried tomato pretzel with this cream cheese stuff inside it. It is far and away the best thing I've ever tasted in my life. And I've eaten a lot of good food.

Yeah, that SDT pretzel thing is evil. I crave it in the middle of the night.
