i love days when you wake up in the morning and have to make sure it's actually morning because the sky is so dark and cloudy.
i'll help you drink the juice, after i'm over the stomach flu.

i love noting all the various displays of popular literature at the bookstores these days. tables and tables of snazzy books with enticing covers promising to divulge the conspiracies of the centuries. pounds and pounds of books offering their versions of the truth about jesus, or helping you explore the mysteries of the kingdom through egyptololgy with fancy gold binding. it's so funny the way certain topics work themselves into popular culture and then earn fancy book covers and illustrations.

I love when your favorite band in the world gets up on stage on The Tonight Show and literally ass rapes all their detractors then flips em over for a bitch slap across the chops for good measure! ;D

i love my grandparents. they're so cute. i talked to them today. they're so funny: my grandpa is a die-hard perfectionist who restores old carriages and such. he has a mercedes from the 60's that still smells new. (if a bird shits on the car, he pulls it over and cleans it off immediately...) anyway, my grandpa was blathering on about the varoius disgraces that his town has fallen into, and the devolving quality of education in this country (one of his favorite subjects). he's just adorable when he does that. they've taken up swimming every morning at 7.a.m. and they're in their late 60's now. i love those two.

I love fly spray....and flyswatters...especially when pesky flies keep annoying me. In winter I don't care much for fly spray. I do like hot water bottles in winter....but not now, because in summer they would only add to my getting to sleep problems. Enjoy your grandparents....mine are all gone now.....it happens so quick...

I love the Ibanez EX 1700 series electric guitar I recieved last weekend. Today I bought an amplifier for it (a small, 10-watt amp but enough to satisfy me) and I absolutely love the sounds that can be made with the distortion switch turned on. I've been quite lazy when it comes to purchasing amps; I've had a used Epiphone electric bass for 6 years now and I still haven't purchased an amp for it. Now that I recieved the Ibanez I felt truly compelled to get an amp.
I'll get a bass amp when the time comes but I'm very satisfied. It's always baby steps for me.
I recall this MTV2 commercial (and it was shown within the first year of the channel's existence) where some guy saves up some money, even collecting all the loose change he can find. My memory of it is a little hazy but it seems he tries everything he can to save up and then goes to a music store and purchases - and I'm not sure - an amp and instantly gets home, plugs it up and starts jamming. He's happy as hell. And I know how he feels.

things i love lately i love my new schwinn, even though it's blue and not green or black like i wanted. i love riding in the early mornings with that extra special edge of fear that comes with drivers that haven't consumed starbucks yet. (actually i don't know which is worse - drivers on starbucks or off it.) i love raisin bran. and grape nuts. obviously my mental age is 55. i love my cat. i didn't think i was going to like her as she was sort of forced on me by a crazy man, but she is taking on several aspects of my personality which is endearing, if not in me then at least in the cat. she doesn't mind when i rub her belly and isn't picky at all. and she has a funny sit, maybe because she is a little plump and can't properly hold her gut in when she sits, hahaha. i love the fact that my friend's new girlfriend loves silent pictures from 1919 and denver's vegan restaurant, like i do! we are going to get along. which is always a good thing because i'm very picky about who my friends date. i love vitamins, they make me feel so conscientious and proactive even though they are probably more of a placebo than anything. i love that my friend will be my roommate again soon, even though this will be like the eighth time at least that he's moved in with me. me and my fat cat are getting lonely. i love that people remember who i am even though i wallow in the notion that being antisocial for three months disqualifies me from humanity. i love that people like me for seemingly no reason! they make it very easy.. I LOVE POPSICLES. they are the greatest food ever constructed by man. even when you are not hungry but need to eat, they are edible. especially the red ones, which also make your lips cherry colored.

I think purple popsicles are the best, and will fight you to the death to defend my choice.

Ug. You will die, because purple are without a doubt the worst ones. They make your tongue look blackish grey and didn't 900 people commit suicide with grape kool-aid anyway? You are wrong Okawa. Terrible taste in popsicles.
I suppose I will still include some TKK for you. Misguided soul is all. Groovie Mann would school you in the ways of the red popsicle.
