I'm the world's biggest Joss Whedon nerd probably. I even wear a t-shirt that says "Joss Whedon is my hero". I own all seasons of Angel and Buffy on DVD and I watch them repeatedly. My favorite stuff to ever be on TV. Cheers to that. Totally feelin' ya. |

Dude, I am of the opinion that Amy Winehouse is sexual kryptonite. I can't think of anyone with such a beautiful voice more unattractive in my life.

Buffy is one of those shows that it's almost impossible to find flaws (except maybe that one episode with the praying mantis bitch). Amazing characters that were so good that the spin-off show was as enriching as the show it spun from. I'm a Cordelia fanboy, through and through.  |

I hate to say it and I don't intend this as a sexist generalization but some of these rock and roll women did tend to have a bit of a post-career weight problem (e.,g Chrissie Hynde, Debbie Harry, one of the Heart sisters, etc..)........!!!!
but of course none of the guys did (e.g, David Crosby, Steven Stills, etc.!!!)

"Go Your Own Weight"?   Can't say I've seen a recent picture of Chrissie Hynde...but I know of Ann Wilson of Heart. There again tho' she can REALLY wail with her voice and I've seen live footage of her on stage and damn she's just fine jamming to the music as much as ever. Hey, can't stop how the body drops sometimes....and speaking of guys, here's my fav as posted a while back:   ...yeah, and is homage currently in my avatar as runner-up to that scary Eddie Van Halen pic someone had up in the past year. jeeezuz....that's one of the worst shots I've seen and hard to pic between the two. Plant on the other hand (IMO) has gotten a better look going now than he did 4 or 5 years ago. "Gracefully aged" is working and shit, I was really startled on how well he did sound on most of the reunion clips I heard. Some of the "Kashmir" stuff esp. |
