Natalie Portman is pretty hot. Watch "Closer" just in case you had any doubts as to the extent of her beauty.

ah, closer.. i love that movie. the first time i saw it i hated it, and then every time i watched it after that i liked it more and more. at first the dialogue seems awful and then you realize it's fucking brilliant!
her pink stripper wig totally does it for me.

"Closer" is such a great film because it's so uncomfortable and the subject matter is so uncomfortable. I hated it at first as well and then I viewed it again when it was released on video and found that I did indeed find it to be a work of genius. All of the drama within the relationships was so realistic, I found it compelling like a train wreck.

wholeheartedly agree, although i don't really think it's that uncomfortable. at first i hated it because it seemed like a total chick flick (the score definitely gives it that chick-flicky feel plus all the relationship "drama") but i began to seriously identify with it upon second/third/etc viewings. i AM natalie portland in that film. and it is beautifully shot, every frame. totally underrated movie. no one will watch it with me because it's so slow.

I honestly just slapped myself in the face for forgetting about Julia Ormond.
