Marilyn Chambers 1952-2009 It's odd...I feel as if I've lost a lover.

Did you have her before or after John Holmes? Just curious....but not quite sure why actually...

Ha! I guess you could say I met her about the same time she was with John Holmes, but I'm sure our relationship, for what it was, lasted much longer than the 10-20 minutes he spent with her in front of the camera. And yeah, I get what you're saying...she always said it was technique over length so I figure I've got two things going for me.
I wonder what the cause of death was? They have not announced it yet...I'm very curious.

This one brought memories back to me. Twenty years ago I was watching this unfold live on television. Horrified me to the bone. Watching this clip with this wonderful music just gives me the chills again. RIP the 96. Justice.

Registered: 07/16/04 Posts: 409 Country music star Vern Gosdin, known for such hits as "Set 'em Up Joe" and "I Can Tell By the Way You Dance (You're Gonna Love Me Tonight)," has died. He was 74.
Gosdin, who suffered "a pretty bad stroke" about three weeks ago, died peacefully in his sleep at a Nashville hospital on April 28th his administrative assistant Dawn Hall said.
A one-time bandmate of The Byrds' Chris Hillman, along with his brother Rex he appeared behind Gene Clark on Clark's 1967 debut solo effort, dubbed 'Echoes' in the UK but intially called 'Gene Clark with the Gosdin Brothers' on its release in the USA on Columbia. he played bluegrass, country-rock and straight country.
But Gosdin found his greatest success doing mainstream country, as he scored No. 1 singles with "I Can Tell by the Way You Dance," the Ernest Tubb quasi-tribute "Set 'Em Up" and "I'm Still Crazy."
His recording of "Chiseled in Stone" claimed the Country Music Association's song of the year honor in 1989, and George Strait found success by rerecording Gosdin's hit "Today My World Slipped Away."
He was born in Woodland, Ala., on Aug. 5, 1934.

oops.
Of course I knew that. I'm from Oklahoma, you know? Don't know where that came from, but I have corrected it. Thanks for the heads-up.
