Ken, I have that box set as well...One of the greatest musical purchaces I've ever made...
The live version of "Keep On Chooglin'" (disc six song #4) is unbelievable. I love the way Fogerty plays guitar..."Pagan Baby" is another lost classic from CCR, w/ an amazing guitar jam by Fogerty. I was fortunate enough to see him at the 9:30 Club in DC about 2 years ago; one of the best concerts I ever went to.

Worst Beatles album ... Rolling Stones ... David Bowie ... The Who ... Billy Joel ... ;D As far as proper albums go, the Beatles never made a bad one in my book... Stones had lots, but they also had a lot of half and half albums, like 'It's Only Rock N' Roll, or 'Goatheads Soup'.... The Who....I've never been a huge fan of 'By Numbers', but I don't neccessarily think its a bad album. I've never heard 'Face Dances' but many say it's pretty bad.

In terms of lost classics, Call It Pretending is just amazing, and every bit as good as any of their later singles. Fogerty's guitar work throughout CCR's career was always steller, and those live sides are real revelations for anyone Creedence's ability onstage.

The Beatles... Though not a bad album Magical Mystery Tour is their weakest.
The Who... Faces Dances is actually abit underated...way better then It's Hard. I've never liked A Quick One very much either except for Boris The Spider and the title track.
The Stones... The worst is Dirty Work.
Bowie... I haven't heard all of his albums but of what I've heard I really don't like the first album.
Billy Joel... I actually like some of his early to mid 70's stuff, anything after The Nylon Curtain is complete crap. So is Cold Spring Harbor.

Wow; I love A Quick One -- I actually listen to it more than Who's Next...."Whiskey Man" is a great track, as is their cover of "Bucket". The album is a bit inconsistent, but I think it's a pretty fun listen.

The Beatles' Magical Mystery Tour is not a proper studio album and was first released in the U.K. as an double EP ...

Though I do think Eminence Front stands beside some of their strongest stuff even from the Moon days.

^^^^
No way, that's a great album. A return to form and a major improvement from NYC Ghost & Flowers. Now the latter could be on this list....
Murray Street has one of the coolest SY songs ever in "Rain On Tin"....

My favorite on Murray St. has to be "Disconnection Notice." Just settles into that groove and works on you.
